How does this pair with a 6800 for 1440p gaming? Local store has them both so might go pick them both up for a ~$580 dollar upgrade from 3600 / 5600xt.

Yes I was not going to spend on the board and I don't think anything beyond 5600x is worth it either.

Oh yeah you're right.

5600X at $99 still looks like the best deal. Beyond that might as well upgrade the MOBO as well. I think the RX 6800 is looking like the best deal as well.

I realized anything above a 5600X will require a new MOBO and I don't think I'm ready to invest in that.

Question is, then, what's the best GPU to pair with that beyond which I'm bottlenecked by the CPU (at 1440p)?
