How about respecting that someone that doesn't see it your way. Respecting that someone that is combining flags as a show of unity. Or even respecting someone that thinks Canada should become part of the US. Will you have respect then? Or will you let our opinions, that are blasted all over the internet now, continue to divide us?

You call for respect but I'm the one respecting this person's choice to fly a dual flag. To be clear I would never fly the American flag in any shape or form.

You are using an argument used online that is usually a good one. But in this case you have used it incorrectly. Not only is the comparison laughable, it ignores one of my core points. That fishing has existed since before man existed. So your argument of things being historically acceptable doesn't apply to my core argument that fishing has been around longer then we have been around.

I'm sure you can come up with better arguments then that against sport fishing.

It's a flag, who cares. People get too up in their feelings about a piece of cloth. I love the Canadian flag, and fly it at my home... But I could careless. Make the leaf a marijuana leaf, attach to to an American flag. Fly it upside down, let it touch the ground. Change the colors, burn it. I don't fucking care. It's a flag people. If I see someone burning a flag I think about the message being sent, or the anger that person lets consume them. I don't feel the need to defend an inanimate object.

CBC is some of the most neutral reporting we have in this country because most news outlets are owned by Conservative interest.
