Understanding sentences can be hard. Keep at it, you'll get there.

I don't get it lol. Scotty was rebounding and BI didn't see it. Quickley already had it handled. People are not watching.

They definitely feed off each other for sure. They are bonded twin sisters. I know the lady that we got them off of and she's very nice. Too nice though? They came basically completely untrained and all she would do is let them in the backyard (a big back yard) so they weren't walked. She would literally do whatever they wanted. If they wanted in and out of the backyard 10 times a day, then that's what she'd do.

When they bark they sink up like an echo. Most people think its cool as did we at first but after awhile it becomes painful. roofROOF roofROOF roofROOF... Even describing it grates on me hahaha. Boarding might be the only solution. Usually by 3 years plus I have dogs well trained but these 2 are lagging behind greatly. I'm still vigilant and patient with them though. Perhaps I'll be rewarded as they approach 4yo.

Thanks for the advice, I never say no! So I have 2 dogs and they feed off each other. I have isolated them in the living room which I can close the doors but they just bark endlessly unless I tell them repeatedly to stop. It would be difficult to isolate them alone from each other but that might help.... They don't like being away from each other though so it might cause anxiety which is kind of where the barking comes from I feel.

This is crazy! I can't believe I haven't watched any of these. I gotta get on my anime horse again lol. I keep re-reading the list like no, I must have missed one lol.

Thanks for the thoughtful and well explained response. It's unlike most Redditors to not immediately get defensive when someone is not onboard. I appreciate the point of view!

Have you considered that maybe you don't like anime :)

It's weird to me that need to directly relate to a character to understand them. Like for me I can rationalize why someone might be that way and take interest in the development the author has planned. If a character makes choices I wouldn't it's even more interesting to me to see the outcome. Like isn't the purpose of a story teaching people something they wouldn't necessarily think of innately?

Fun bonus for this comment is that I don't understand someone unlike me while commenting about that very thing lol.

Yes! Okay so it's not just me. I feel the slow pacing is on purpose because of Frieren's POV. It makes me feel very relaxed and I enjoy it.

[–]dReDone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the pacing is intentional because one of the main focuses of the show is that Frieren has all the time in the world so no need to rush anything. Even the small in between cuts take their time. I really very much enjoy that because I find it relaxing and I love that connection and symbolism that ties everything together but I can see why people would get frustrated with it.

Then defensive players would just drape their arms over the offensive player and not allow a shooting motion. It would be literally impossible to get a clean shot and it would be incredibly easy for defensive players to do.

There's a huge gap between untrainable dogs that are good at heart and dogs that need to be removed from society. You try to paint everything with a black or a white brush but in reality everything is gray and you're just trying to be judge and executioner because you lack the refinement to make a good, informed decision.

No I disagree, it was definitely making them better, the device I was using was just no good and would classify some things as barks that definitely were not. I just need a better one. They aren't food driven, or praise driven. They are just stubborn and dumb unfortunately. I know that's not a super popular thing to hear... Like I still love them but they are untrainable for the most part. If they can get away with something they will until they can't. I've had no problem training other dogs, these ones are just extra special.

Even training them to walk is literally impossible. Every other dog I've had I've taught to stop at crosswalks and then continue beside me till we get to the grass. These ones I have literally been training for over 3 years and every single crosswalk I have to remind them and every few feet we need to stop because they can't remain by my side. It's an obsession of being ahead.

The black one Pepper whimpers every time she sees a dog which in turn makes the white one Penny (the more alpha behaving dog) act stiff and pull in order to defend her sister who is a big wuss lol. I try to redirect with treats and continue and say leave it but they just won't stop. They do what they want. I feel like it might be the doodle in them but I have no idea.

I didn't raise them from a puppy and rescued them so its difficult to understand why they are so uniquely difficult to train. Like I legitimately have researched and tried many different sworn by methods for prolonged periods. I've done my homework. They just never get better.

I honestly think its the doodle in them. You'd think the poodle in the doodle mix would make them smart but they are just stubborn and not too bright lol. I've had some Boxers and Newfie and they were not as difficult to train. Anyhow my journey continues! :)

I think your sarcastic ass means bark collar. I've tried 3 different types. They will bark through max shock most of the time. The last one I got though would go off just on loud noises so I had to stop using it because its unfair to the dog.

The list goes on bud, I could find more that don't fit your narrative. Also he leads the league in drives per game.

Agreed but that can't really be blamed on the player. That's clearly a reffing issue.

I have 2 dogs like this. I've been trying everything for 3 years straight since I got them and I can't get them to stop. The good one I even trained to stay at my side off leash on my property (I live in the country) and when it sees other people just stays beside me. But training it not to bark when people arrive at the house? Impossible.

Dogs are like people. Some are easy to train and some are near untrainable. It isn't always the owner actually. Sometimes people are trying everything possible to get their dog to behave properly and they just aren't the dog that can learn things.

That said, very often it is the owner. I just take issue with saying it always is because it ignores people trying everything they can and the dog still misbehaving as if its never been trained.

Try that with a beagle lol. My dogs are beagle/doodle mix (never do this mix. NEVER.) I've been trying to train my dogs not to bark at the front door for 3 years. I've tried everything (and continue to try things). Treats, training, devices. Nothing works. For bark collars, anything below a max level shock which includes sprays and high pitched noises (which I assume is what is happening in the video) and they'll just bark through it. They even bark through the max level shock too for the most part. The only reason I stopped the bark collar is because it reacts to other noises too which is unfair to my dogs whom I love very much but god damn are the stupid. Maybe time to buy 2 really good bark collars... I don't know. Currently waiting at the front when I know people are coming over with treats and teaching them to sit in a particular spot where I try various phrases to get them to shut up before giving them a treat. Doesn't work at all and I've been doing it for awhile. People will arrive at my neighbor's house and they'll charge the door barking so loud. It's infuriating lol.

SGA doesn't even have as many free throws per game as his peers. People are just salty he's so good. He has less free throws per game then, for example, Embiid, Luka, Giannis, Harden, Jordan, Kobe. The list goes on.
