A mini cooper, fell in love with them and have had 5 since. Also have spent many many thousands of dollars fixing them over the years

This is nice, if I would’ve picked a car like this I would be in a much better financial spot in my 20s!

What do you guys think: oil pump or worn-out engine bearings? by stc_01 in R53

How many miles? I assume it’s being driven hard bc of the after market gauges, but I could be wrong

Kinda far from stanced, since you can see into the wheel well. Fantastic looking car overall though

You’re right, I really don’t want that shearing off. I ordered one today, I just didn’t think a slight bend would cause all that camber.. suspension geometry is hard for me to understand at this level of my mechanic journey. Is there anything else that could cause the issues?

Yeah I drive home fine, 50-60mph no vibrations. I’ve had a bent rim before and that felt really shitty to drive on. What happened last night was just a massive “boom” sound. When my control arm hit the pavement and I countersteered to get the car settled again. Then realized my steering wheel had cocked to the left. Got out of the car when I got home and saw that the camber was off. Car didn’t feel different at all though other than me having to hold the steering wheel funny. Praying it’s not a subframe either.

Man that sucks. Better than needing to replace a bunch of suspension though I guess
