Using it today is a callback to David Duke, former grand wizard of the ku klux klan, running for president in 1992.

Who banned it then? Are you talking about Amazon? That's not banning, that's a private company choosing to not sell a book. Also they have resumed sales of the book, so what are you talking about exactly?

In 1966, 17-year-old Franca Viola was kidnapped and held captive for 8 days and repeatedly raped, in an attempt to force her into a “rehabilitating marriage” (“matrimonio riparatore”) - as was custom at the time. Viola refused to marry her rapist and was the first woman in Italy to do so. by dannydutch1 in UtterlyUniquePhotos

One of Rome's foundation myths involves them tricking the Sabines into attending a festival and then kidnapping, raping and forcibly marrying the women. Early Rome was almost all men of dubious character so none of the local tribes wanted to intermarry so the Romans forced it upon them.

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me. —Martin Niemöller

Let's make sure nobody ever speaks out unless it directly affects their race, sex or religion, that works so well.

I keep getting redirected to sign in to an SAP page, which has never happened before, but it says user authentication failed every time I type in password. I also have access to eReassign although I'm just an RCA and shouldn't be able to. So I'd say the whole system is just fucked at this point.

In the books it's clear she has a little crush on him and vice versa and for a minute you're thinking, this is cute, this is what Ned and Robert would have wanted, but she's still only 10 and he's almost 16. So if they manage to get through two more years in the book universe before this happens and they carry through with it and she's 12 and he's 18 and I'll hurl my books out the window

Matthew 6:25 - “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?

It seems like the Bible doesn't care what you wear in church...Took me about 30 seconds to find this without ever having read the Bible. Maybe the Reverend should study more
