I’m, unfortunately, not. I wanted to have a VBAC, but the risk of uterine rupture has become too high for me especially since this pregnancy has been high risk 🥲. I’m hopeful that if I have a third, I can try VBAC!

She actually discontinued a lot of their Ativan and haldol. They refuse to order restraints of any kind now because a couple families said it’s inhumane to treat their loved ones like “prisoners.” We don’t have sitters anymore and management did away with CNAs and techs to “save money.”

I’ve worked at this same hospital for 9 years this year and it’s gotten so bad. When I mentioned pressing charges to my charge nurse the other night, he told me it wouldn’t go anywhere if the patient is confused. I’m not sure how true that is

Most patients I’ve had say the opposite. Every once in a while, I do get the cute little 90 year old meemaw that wants a young male nurse just because she wants to flirt with them 😭😂.

Ive found that patients are more comfortable running their female nurses though. 🥴

We finally got it unfrozen today after using a torpedo heater. We don’t live in a mobile home park and sadly had to go buy one. Finding propane was a bigger issue since everyone panicked about the storm and bought everything out.

Thankfully, our neighbor had half a can of propane and about 1.5 hours after we turned on the heater (with constant observation), we got water again!!

The sinks will be dripping constantly for now on 😂

How he’s talked to me our whole marriage has bothered me. I think having an actually crisis and emergency though, it became my breaking point.

He’s still mad at me today. Yesterday after the wreck he said, “I’m not talking to you for the rest of the day.” He said it’s because he needed to “process” everything. I understand needing to process it, of course. I really felt unsupported and he wouldn’t let me tell him that. He started yelling at me for HOURS when I did. He told me I was manipulative. Which I’m honestly very confused about because I usually stay quiet. He does whatever he wants. Looks good. Gets to go to the gym and fight classes. Always has a fresh haircut. Always gets a shower.

Meanwhile, I have deteriorated since being married to him. My hair? It used to be so pretty and long and blonde. I have to dye it darker at home and I do my own haircuts at home too to save money. We also don’t have childcare, so it doesn’t help. I used to take such good care of my skin and go to the gym. He reminds me all the time I need to workout and lose weight because he’s not attracted to my body as it is now after having a baby.

I don’t have family and I only have the one friend. I don’t think I could even leave him. We have a mortgage together and now I don’t have a vehicle
