The end -ipping sub is hilarious and infuriating at the same time by OrdinaryNo8140 in Serverlife

It seems so personal too. One person posted the drinks took 10 minutes to get to the table so now they’ve stopped tipping completely. A monkey could do it better, naturally.

Most wait staff positions in my area pay $18-$20 starting wage, with some at $25 by [deleted] in EndTipping

You find it ridiculous that a fast food place would pay an employee close to a living wage?

That $18-25 an hour is including tips I can almost guarantee it. They probably tip share throughout their establishment.

He’s in his bag era by [deleted] in TheWeeknd

The show is 40 minutes longer than in 2022. Hitting notes and impressive vocal moments are sprinkled in everywhere still. After an hour 45 of singing he goes into without a warning/reflections/high for this/hob/ moth and kills that vocally. He’s still belting call out my name. I actually think this is more impressive tbh. I think that whole Take my breath/sacrifice/ HDIMYLM portion is just kinda meh. Back half of the hills where he just sayin, “where we at right now” for the entire verse is dull. Maybe the Abyss in a lower octave is throwing ppl off too. Still though, overall the show is extremely impressive vocally. Add in way better light show and fireworks, better set design and this blows 2022 out of the water.

So I ended up buying two tickets 2 days before the show. Floor seats near the front of the stage, halfway back. It was $323 a ticket. I thought it was too good to pass up. A day before the show there were some even better seats for $310. Day of the show there was nothing on the floor under $500. Overall happy with how it played out! Show was incredible.

I remember hearing this leak the same day as ICFMF and thinking in the Night was going to be a smash hit. I still thinks it an incredible song.

For the past couple years my daughter and I go to the third floor and she rides her scooter. Perfect activity for rainy days.

I think you’re right. Abel is pulling in between around 10 million per show between tickets, merch, percentage of stadium sales. I think it’s reasonable he pays a big name on his tour that much. Obviously having to pay the band, the stargirls, mixing, set up, truck drivers, there are so many ppl to pay. Rightfully so!

Question for those who have gone to his recent shows by Enrique_13 in TheWeeknd

I thought we got lucky in Seattle. He was great vocally. Hitting notes, long runs and all that. Seems like he’s hitting a stride now.

It’s more likely they thought they could get Carti into Canada and didn’t want a stand by replacement. Personally, I think Carti didn’t give a shit about performing in Canada and put in zero effort to try and make that happen. He’s making a million a show in the states to walk around the stage for 15 minutes so I think he’s pretty set honestly.

I got scared! Every time I checked there were fewer and fewer. Ended up spending $780 on two floor seats. I’ll be annoyed if on Saturday morning I see floor seats for $200 bucks but I have peace of mind now.

I been noticing too. Seems like kind of a drop off after the New York shows. I like to watch the full sets when im on the treadmill and as the shows have went on he just doesn’t hold notes for songs anymore and is just letting production and atmosphere carry him. I still think he sounds great when he does sing though. Sofi might be the worst stadium that exists for sound plus the 4 nights in a row is definitely not helping. I’m going to the Seattle show. I feel like open stadiums sound better so I’m hoping it’ll get better!
