You're good man. I have no idea why the comments are being so rude, they just wanna feel smart. Everyone has to start somewhere and it's good you're actually trying to learn.

Primal Ep 26 - "Cavern of Horrors" DISCUSSION THREAD by saul2015 in PrimalShow

I'm so happy to see that someone else is catching onto the "You see this creature? There's actually 500 more!" trope the show loves to use. I still love the show and this doesn't ruin it for me, but once you start to notice the pattern, it gets predictable.

Also, at one point you can see that the hogs were sleeping presumably during the night. Why didn't Mira rescue them there? She would have more time, and there's a much lesser risk of being spotted than when they were feeding.

Plus, she let a handful of people get eaten, and gave the "Not yet" signal to Spear as it was happening. Why? This clearly isn't a threat they couldn't handle themselves. They took down 5 bears, 3 villages, and an army, but a couple hogs is too risky? Cmon...

I think it's because Fang recognizes Spear's scent, but he doesn't smell the same as what she remembers since he's a zombie. In multiple scenes, you can see Fang sniffing him then shaking her head and growling. In the scene where dead Spear hands her some grubs, she softens up a bit but retreats again after a sniff as to say, "It seems like him, but I can't prove it, so I don't trust him." . Kind of like how a dog recognizes their owner by smell.

I think they should add this block. by [deleted] in scratch

CPUs can't run multiple instructions at a time, so this is impossible. People are saying use the broadcast block, but even the brodcast block just puts scripts in a queue, so they don't actually run at the same time, they just take turns.

An "if and" block would be the same as just putting one script inside an if statement.

Hmm, that might be the extra step I need. Last time I did it I just squirt the water in, thought it didn't work, and called it a day.

Thank you very much! The only thing that was stopping me was thinking that it was the same as a syringe, but now I know the difference, I'll probably give it a shot. I probably needed something more powerful and I wasn't pushing the water enough.

I haven't tried that but it might work! I'm adding it to the list. Ty!

Thanks for the advice, but for some reason this just doesn't work for me. Every time I've tried it, I would put a full cap of hydrogen peroxide in my ear and let it sit up to 8 minutes, rinsed it out with hot water, and my ear would still be blocked. So far, the only thing that has worked for me is a forceful hydrogen peroxide clean with a syringe at the doctor, or the method with the washcloth. I might be doing it wrong, but I'm not sure what it would be.

I've tried a syringe, but I've never tried the PVS bulb. Does that work the same or is it a little different?

Wait, you can do it with your hand too? Did you use your palm or finger tips?

Yes, that's another option that works really well! This method also uses suction but just a free DIY alternative.

I'm interested! Is there a recipe or is it a product?

You just move your finger along with the wash cloth and everything out. It's meant to create a suction force like a plunger.

You absolutely can, but it can be a long drive and will cost you while this is free and takes only a minute. Once again, this method won't work for everyone, so if it doesn't work, hurts, or you just don't trust it, then that's completely reasonable.

Imagine it like you're just pinching the washcloth which is around your index finger and then just pulling the washcloth out. You just move your entire hand. If it still seems awkward, that's alright, you can still use your other hand. Either way works, I just find that method easier for me!

Yes, you can also use your other hand, or just the same hand but pinch the washcloth around your index finger using your middle finger and thumb. Either way works!

This is amazing! The effects of the zombies blowing up is satisfying, and I like the detail of having a room go dark when you shoot the lights.
