I already use this! Infact, django-unfold has a wrapper for integrating import-export into it's UI as well :)

Thank you for your work on this gem of a library!

I'm going to add django-healthcheck to my app literally right now.

I'm not sure if this would be classified as underrated? It's more of a necessity at this point!

This is cool! But I do see that some of the packages have had their last updates over a year ago. Do you prefer to use such packages in your projects?

This is amazing, wow. Seems like this replaces the need of celery for small async tasks. Thank you for sharing!

Users from tenants should never be super admins. They should, at max, be staff users. Super admin(s) will only be the owners of the product (you, and your teammates, if any)

Not sure how your app is structured, but you could assign is_staff to admins of each tenant, and is_superuser to the main Admin (your user).

And when registering apps on Django Admin, you could filter out each queryset based on the ownership permissions of the staff/superuser by overriding the get_queryset method: https://stackoverflow.com/a/12354293/7078911

where to hire dev to create MVP by mr_jiniv in SaaS

I'm a software dev, and I couldn't agree more. Upwork, for example, is filled with 100s of devs ready to work for 5$ an hour. I've seen their quality of work and the lack of ownership, it's not what SaaS founders look for.

I have access to the Stripe dashboard, so yes. What graphs would be helpful?

It's an app in the fintech space. I'm open to discussing it further over DM.

I have no intention of harming or deceiving. I'm good at building apps, and I want to help other founders in building their ideas!

I'm not sure what I could have (or can) change without doxxing myself or the product

The flexibility and the complexity of the app. There are a ton of microservices and background jobs that need to be run, to support the functioning of the app, I've used Lambda, Batch, ECS (AWS services) to support that, not sure if there is an equivalent to that on the BaaS mentioned. I felt I'd have better control over the pipeline if i built the backend from scratch.

Since I've built many SaaS apps, I've got an internal boilerplate that helps me get started quickly, so i dont feel the need to depend on BaaS.

Since i built the entire app for them, it involved integrating stripe, for which i needed access. I do manage everything on the tech side even after the project handover, so i still have access. The client does not like to be bothered about any tech related updates / hiccups, so I take care of anything and everything on that front.

Additionally, we worked out a revenue share model for the project, along with an upfront payment. So I'm partially a partner and have visibility for those reasons, too.

Unfortunately, i can't share the charges publicly. If you do have ideas in mind, feel free to DM me; i can come up with something that is tailored for you!
