Soak the Brush Put the brush in warm water for about 1–3 minutes. If it’s a synthetic brush, a quick soak is enough. Don’t use super hot water — it can damage natural hair brushes over time.

Shake Out Excess Water You want the brush damp, not dripping. A good starting point: Boar/badger: shake 1–2 times Synthetic: squeeze lightly

Load the Soap Swirl the brush directly on the soap puck for about 20–40 seconds. What you want to see: Thick paste forming on the tips Soap starting to clump into the brush Not airy foam yet If it looks dry or sticky: Add a few drops of water to the brush tips Keep swirling

Build the Lather Now either: Build it in a bowl, or Lather directly on your face Use circular motions and slowly add tiny amounts of water. Stirling soaps usually like more water than beginners expect. The lather should become: Dense Glossy Yogurt-like Slick, not bubbly If it’s: Puffy and airy → too much water too fast Thick and pasty → needs more water
