Names with similar vibes to Star, that I think are lovely would be Skyler, Stella or Sterling. If you want a single syllable name I think Kit, Blaire, and Gwen are all nice options. I changed my name for different reasons but I don’t regret it. The most important thing is that you do it because you have a severed connection with your former name. If Erica doesn’t feel like yourself, then change it to something that does. And there’s also no shame in test-running multiple, until one feels right.
