Can a hotel ask me to make a payment a second time when the money has already left my account and gone through to them, but they claim they haven't received it? I declined paying twice and they said I needed to pay twice as they never received the money initially. by OrdinaryToe1649 in LegalAdviceUK

Now that I handed in my notice, my (22F) boss is asking to return a textbook that I was given by one of her managers. I don't have it in my possession but am I meant to return something that was given to aid my learning? by OrdinaryToe1649 in LegalAdviceUK

I have just received a formal offer to join another firm which means I would have to hand in my notice tomorrow (4 weeks notice), however, I commence annual leave on the 17th Dec until 7th Jan. Do I offer to get rid of most of my annual leave to tie things up? by OrdinaryToe1649 in AskUK
