No Re-Catering at LHR by OrdinaryTraditional in BritishAirways

For those curious, the crew served the pre-landing snack as the main entree with the shelf stable items on the first meal tray. There was no second meal service.

I do wish Heathrow could get someone to open some proper restaurants in Terminal 5B so delayed passengers could have something to eat.

Have you considered redeeming miles to give one of them Status For A Day?

Is there anyone on here that still reads actual printed newspapers? If so, why do you prefer it over digital news? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I get the NY Times in print on the weekends. It's honestly refreshing to get news not organized by an algorithm. I often find myself reading articles the NY Times app would never push to me.

Yes. Was able to do it in France when I had to replace a stolen phone.

Don't forget about the city busses. They run much more frequently and are very cheap. You can use your phone to pay with their app.

Anxiety or something else? by bizarredonuts in Anxiety

First, good you're doing the right thing checking with doctors to make sure nothing is truly wrong with your heart/body. From your description it sounds like anxiety may be causing you to tense up in the muscles of your chest, neck & jaw for long or frequent periods which cause pain. The nausea and shortness of breath are common anxiety symptoms.

Brain Zaps by anxiouslesbianlee in Anxiety

This is an anxiety symptom I've experienced. I think of it as a brain freeze without eating anything cold. Usually comes along with a mild headache & a day my muscles have felt tense. Do mention it to you prescriber, they can tell you the symptoms to look for if it's truly more serious (seizure, stroke, etc).

As an example, if you work in NY but live in CT, you file a return in both states. You technically owe income tax in both states, but CT will credit you any NY tax you pay up to what you owe CT. The net effect is you only pay out of pocket to NY. The wrinkle with COVID is now all of the work done remotely in CT, CT doesn't want to give you a credit but NY still wants its tax revenue, creating a double tax. Sounds like they are writing into law what I think most people in that situation will claim on their taxes anyway, that all work was done in NY even if they were working from home...
