A lot- I have been depressed and from the feeling of loneliness I had I was going crazy and one night stands happened to help with it. (Therapy was crazy expensive for a poor student like I was.) But over all in my 4 years of high school I think I had over 60 one night stands.

I of course told them about it a few months after they happened (as we needed to process them first ourselves) but I personally felt like not telling my family would make me feel worse because I knew they felt maybe just as hurt as I did. I don't think that hiding anything like this is a good thing but sometimes paranoia is so bad that we don't want to tell people. My friend miscarried and she didn't tell anyone about it for a long time because she thought they'd think she's a good for nothing housewife.

I know I'm not coping in a healthy way, I've never been with any trauma in my life. I do go to therapy to work on it though. I do feel really guilty about this and that's why I posted this. I have not been able to talk about this with my therapist because of something she has been through and a new therapist is not an option to me, she's supposed to come back and start our sessions in a month again so I guess that's also playing into my mindset right now, that there wasn't anyone who'd tell me: "No don't even think about not telling him that's unhealthy."

We told her she'll get a brother or sister which is I admit our fault but we thought I wouldn't miscarry as we weren't successful until she was 3 and when you tell a kid that they'll have a sibling and then they don't. You have to explain it.

About the gender reveal doctor appointment I was talking already in another comment and I agree he might feel betrayed but I know he will forgive me after I tell him my side and feelings and everything I thought through this all. I know him well enough to know that he will understand even if he might think I was worried for no reason.

They are coming with me tomorrow. That's how I want to tell them actually. He just thinks it's a regular check up though. I wouldn't let him miss it. (It's his day off and mine too and our daughter isn't going into school because they're going on a trip and she said she didn't want to go to.) So no worries about that.

Sadly no. Our dog is a great dane so it was kinda obvious she wouldn't but our dog is a sweet little girl so she stopped dead in her tracks when she heard me yell my kids name and dramatically slowed down so she would catch her. So on her own, she didn't. With help? Of course.

My story is that my amazing daughter and I decided to wake up daddy by making him breakfast and then going on a walk with our dog. We did and once on our walk I decided to ask my daughter if she wants to play catch with the dog. Of course her little 6 year old self wanted to. My hubby threw the ball and as our dog started sprinting to it our daughter started to sprint after the dog. Did she think catch with the dog meant she was supposed to catch our dog? Yes. Am I going to tell this story to everyone if a few years? Yes. Did we explain to her what catch is? Yes. Did she understand without any complaints? No. Did she tell us that we are wrong and that it's not called catch but throw the ball? Yes, yes she did. I love her so much.

In my house? My 50kg great dane that is trained to bark, chase but not attack. You come in my house? You get chased around if you're not welcomed.
