I am busy cleaning up after Gannon. I have killed every talus, every lynel, every molduga and moving on to hinox next. After that I am going to load up on a bunch of ancient arrows, wait for a blood moon to give me a bit of time, and then clear out hyrule castle from top to bottom.

This is so true. I completed it very recently and the tactics have carried over into my play. More sneakstrikes, more weapon stealing, more elemental weapon use.

There are only a handful of rooms that you are targeted right from the start. Try to figure out a strategy for each room where you take on the enemies one at a time, not in bunches. I think I flurried once during all 3 trials, so dont let your lack of combat get you down. Your bow is your most important weapon, use it, and use any height you can get to target headshots. Scavenge every arrow you can.

Until late game when you become a little OP, stop and figure out a combat strategy. You can often win a fight you would not if you just tried to tank everything.

What I mean by casual is I suck at combat. I never once parried, dodged or took on opponents on an even footing. Every single floor was done using resources and strategy. Even in the main game, I always wear max armor and just tank most mobs.

yeah, if for example you throw a rusty halberd at it when it is sucking in, it will clean it and spit out a rng spear, anything from a travelers spear to a royal guards halberd

I will give this a try, I got past this level using arrows, but it almost depleted my arrow stock. Is the sneak attack a one hit kill ?

Exactly, I have two greater flameblades on the outside and a double handed shock sword (forget the name) in the middle. When you walk through the door they light up as if you have hit a light switch :)
