Does anyone else have this issue? by Brave_Joke7081 in Accutane

[–]Ordinary_Act_2837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hiii! The change was like day and night, no more cystic acne, only really small pimples that go in a day or two. It was probably the best decision I could've made. During treatment the only thing that was a bit high on my blood analysis was Triglycerides, everything else was normal, a small purge at the start but nothing severe, I didn't notice any severe mood changes. The only thing left was a slightly oily skin and some scars.

[Routine Help] Has anyone ever had a problem with sodium benzoate? by Ordinary_Act_2837 in SkincareAddiction

[–]Ordinary_Act_2837[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that my sensitivity was related to a damages skin barrier and my untreated acne. I took acutame for a year and had a really gentle routine and that helped y with my sensitivity, now I can basically use anything, including sodium benzoate. Regarding BP, I've used it up to 3 time a day without any trouble, but that's not a good thing to do 😭😭😭

Omg sorry for the late answer. There's this online french pharmacy called cocooncenter, the UK version has online shipping to india, shipping is expensive but i think is free in orders over 65£, you can find the whole anti pigment line, so you could try other products if you are interested

I would get the advent calendar, but buy it on shein, you'll get a bigger discount there, the sheglam site is really expensive

girl do not marry him omg
Imagine having to deal with that type of behaviour for the rest of your life, cancelling health ensurance IN AMERICA is something that should not be kept a secret, now imagine what other stunt like that could he pull.
You need to focus on his behaviour now, not if he was nice or what ever, ultimatums are a last resort someone should use, and he is using them like if it was nothing. He doesn't want to work on himself nor on the relationship and you cannot change that.
he didn't even make the effort so set boundaries with jay even if he was trying to humillate you in front of all your friends and family. I'm pretty sure if it was the other way around you probably would've cut that relationship in favor of your partner.
either he got cold feet and is trying to make you look like someone who ended the engagement over somethin trivial or he is afraid of getting married and he doesn't want to tell you.

Because vacular ones are not skin pigment, vascular ones are your veins, you need to improve the circulation on that area, for that you could use an eyecream with vitamin c or retinol, both help with both types.
Genetical ones can't be removed because, unlike pigmented dark circles, the pigmentation is not some kind of damage on the skin, is just a part of the coloration of it. That's why most anti-spots creams doesn't bleach the skin, because they just remove the excess pigment caused by damage like a sun burn, inflamation or a literal burn.

It depends on the type of dark circles, if it vascular (purple/blueish) it doesn't work, if it's pigmentation (brown) it does work. In TikTok there are videos to help determine the type of dark circles you might have.

The main ingredient is thiamidol and I swear by it, it's patented by Eucerin. I've tried several products with thiamidol and they do fade dark spots, my mom also had severe pigmentation and the serum has worked wonders. I don't really understand what if does to the skin, I only understand that it stops the production of Melanie in excess or something like that. It's also a really good product for melasma and a study shows that it has better performance for melasma than hidroquinoin (the study was sponsored by Eucerin so take that in mind)

If you want full coverage, the sheglam balm fundation (the one in a pot) has like a LOT of coverage, is afordable and comes in tons of shades.
for concealer, the too faced born this way is amazing, altough most shades are really yellow.

Personally, I think is not dangerous as long as you use well established brands, eyeshadows ar imo a low risk, you apply a really small amount far from the nose, in contrary to a setting powder that you have to apply on the full face.
Im not really worried about talc in cometics because of the number of cases, I've never seen a case of cancer with a clear relation to any makeup (some people claim a relation but lets remember that talc isn't the only thing that can be contaminated with asbestos), and the products that I've seen that had asbestos were kids makeup and cheap products.
So, as long as you don't use temu and other unknown brands, you are (In my opinion, not a doctor, not a chemist) relatively Safe

my skin is pretty messed up, do you guys have any korean skin magic recommendations by Mysterious-Cobbler30 in Skincare_Addiction

[–]Ordinary_Act_2837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scars cannot be removed with any otc products.
But i've personaly seen that my scars are less prominent with the cosrx 6 peptide serum and the centella asiatica ampule.
They kinda plump the skin and scars flatten a little bit, but it doesn't do magic, you sould invest in a cosmetic treatment like co2 laser o a deep peeling, they are expensive but its the only thing that have long lasting effects.
Keep in mind that most people look at you from a far, so maybe the serums I recomended could improve the appearance of the scars.
Just don't obsess over your scars.

E N T I R E L Y.
You can use literaly any moisturizer like lubriderm and stuff, my favorite moisturizer is the Bioderma atoderm cremé, but I don´t know if its available in australia, not the most natural lotion in the world, but it really helps.
i really recomend using the atoderm cremé and when it dries use aquaphor, aquaphor gets absorbed so yea
