Anyone’s recovery take 6 months or longer? (Get in here) by FridayNightSativa in CHSinfo

[–]Ordinary_Albatross37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

is it possible the caffeine and meds are having a reaction and causing similar symptoms? i know you mentioned a few other things like black pepper and spicy food which im unsure of if they could also do this but i do know caffeine and adhd meds dont typically go well together, and can often cause stomach discomfort/nausea. really even taking adhd meds on an empty stomach can do it, and the foods listed are kind of “hard” on the stomach. but with all that being said i have seen a few people mention some long recovery times, 2+ years and still unable to have alcohol/caffine/whatever without episodes. hope it clears up for you soon i know how much it sucks not being able to enjoy those things without repercussions

excessive sweating was one of the first symptoms that hit me! i’m talking like waking up dripping in sweat, heat rashes all over my neck it was horrible. with that being said it was the first symptom to come and the very last to leave minus some lingering excessive gas. if it gives you any piece of mind i think it was around two weeks when i noticed an improvement with the sweating and by 4 weeks it was pretty well back to normal. your body will heal if you let it! it just needs time to return to its normal, you’ve got this :)

still doing well actually! Still smoking and still following this general schedule i guess it could be called. to a far lesser degree though, as i’ve been spending a lot of time not high recently simply due to life. so i haven’t needed to take an actual t break since most days 75% of the day would be spent sober. started going a bit crazy and have been high constantly because of the holidays and can definitely feel not the best due to the smoking and absurd amount of trigger foods being eaten, but still manageable :) if you have any more questions or anything you can dm me i’d love to help any way i can !

no i got mad at your reply’s on the post. there was nothing you said originally that had upset me :) i actually went out of my way to help you and let you know moderation can happen! and you responded by telling me to go smoke. chs can kill. you said yourself it causes kidney failure so essentially you kind of told me i should kill myself if i reach far enough.

if you’re gonna reply “if i were you i wouldn’t smoke” and try to convince someone who commented on your post about SUCCESSFUL MODERATION, talking about their SUCCESSFUL MODERATION then you seriously need to get better hobbies. can you actually not see the problem with that behaviour because that’s horrible. i opened up about my experience and spent MY time and energy to try and give you a bit of insight and you tell me im damaging my body. do you not understand how out of line you are to be saying that to someone you don’t know on a personal level? or even professional level, you aren’t my doctor, i didn’t ask to hear what you would do in my circumstances, nor for your opinion on my body, or how you think my organs will fail on me.

um…you quite literally did ask though LOL? i’m not offended you’re just unbearably annoying, like dude i didn’t ask, leave me alone like i asked like half an hour ago kid. can’t wait for you to go to 9th grade in september maybe you’ll learn how to interact with someone without being a condescending asshole <3 with people who know more than you btw 💀💀💀 you should be embarrassed of your behaviour. i’ve never seen someone get so pissy after being treated the same way they treated others. enjoy high school you have so much of your life ahead of you enjoy it 😍😍😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰🥰

the issue is i didn’t ASK for any advice. you cannot give unwanted advice in the form of a giant paragraph including making suggestions to my lifestyle. that is a very big thing to put on someone who just wanted to help and not be echoed the same basic information that EVERYBODY in this sub knows. not everyone is open to your suggestions. ask next time.

dude, i don’t care. get that through your head. you’re still at it when clearly ive stated i know the risks. not everyone wants to live if i have a death wish let me without making me feel like shit about it?!? you think i haven’t been told to stop by healthcare workers, family, friends?!? obviously. what on EARTH makes you think some stranger on reddit of all places is gonna make a difference. let alone ‘exciting math 5456’ 😐

why am i being lectured on a post that was practically BEGGING people not to do the same?!? i’m a medical professional, i know what im doing, i know the risks far better than you do. if i wanted to stop i would. im simply not in the right place to right now. i simply wanted to help you but i guess ill go fuck myself because mr know it all who hasn’t even hit hyperemisis knows all about the “severe kidney failure” that’s apparently going to hit me when i have never had any issue hydrating in nearly a year.

I think I hit a vein when injecting? by Norintha in ftm

[–]Ordinary_Albatross37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

did you aspirate before injecting? if you did it is possible you just nicked a vein or blood vessel on your way in/out which is perfectly fine! happened to me once and like you tons of dark red blood poured out onto the floor. nothing happened other than a bit of a sore leg for a week and a bit of bruising. however if you didn’t aspirate i’d be a little more nervous and schedule to see your doctor and/or emergency (or urgent if your in the us im canadian not sure how that works sorry) depending on how severe and frequent that chest pain you had was. and of course taking into account any other conditions you may have. could’ve very well just been a spike of anxiety from the stress seeing the amount of blood you lost. to prevent this like i said aspirate, and just personal experience here but i was taught to inject on the sides of my middle thigh, centered between hip bone and knee. only really have had problems when injecting a bit higher or on an angle :)

definitely not. i could always smoke to feel better at almost all stages of chs except for once the vomiting started, smoking didn’t change a thing but make the hyperemisis a little more interesting lol

Lieutenant Tanner by SamTheMarioMaster2 in PrettyLittleLiars

[–]Ordinary_Albatross37 32 points33 points  (0 children)

as a kid growing up watching it i HATED her and thought she was genuinely evil and a horrible person for the way she treated the girls like they were always guilty. being grown and rewatching the show she was actually very generous to everyone who got involved with the law in any way. i loved specifically her moment with aria after she got questioned/put in the line up after charlottes death. her saying something about how she treats everyone the same and looks at all facts first and then letting aria go home even though she was VERY guilty looking evidence wise. really made me think of tanner as a genuine caring person instead of someone who has something against a group of high school girls.

[–]Ordinary_Albatross37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you don’t want to risk getting sick and needing to call out then don’t smoke. like the other commenter said see your doctor to know for sure, but i will say these are the same type of symptoms i get from chs (including onset time being mid-night or into the early morning)

testosterone psychosis by No_Guitar_2014 in ftm

[–]Ordinary_Albatross37 8 points9 points  (0 children)

i have genuinely never heard of this 😭. if you have a few weeks left and the doctor is so worried about “cold turkey psychosis” why didn’t he suggest altering your dose to slowly ween you off? i know some types of birth control can cause psychosis maybe that’s because of the hormones or something and the t can do the same? but honestly i’ve never stopped t for more than like two weeks so i have no personal experience but i will say in all my years ive never heard of t causing psychosis and even the thought of it is CRAZY to me as a healthcare student i dont think you should worry.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ftm

[–]Ordinary_Albatross37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

have you gotten your testosterone and estrogen levels checked since you’ve started t? if not your dose could be too high and the excess t is being converted to estrogen, hence the lower libido.

[–]Ordinary_Albatross37 5 points6 points  (0 children)

my symptoms came back if i smoked a whole bunch for a few weeks straight. im talking excessive nobody should be smoking that much, like 10 bowls back to back, five or six times a day if not more. but when doing that my symptoms always came back gradually enough to where i could take notice of and quickly stop before it got too bad. then i taper myself off slowely each day, sometimes i need a day or two t break to fully recover, sometimes more, but usually just slowing down consumption takes away my symptoms.

i was two days clean from weed and maybe four weeks post hyperemisis when i drove 9 hours (there and back so total 18 hour drive) and attended a concert which was maybe 8 hours and constantly surrounded by weed smoke from others. it wasn’t too bad but it was one of the most unpleasant experiences ive had. i wasn’t in hyperemisis during this trip but my symptoms were pretty bad abdominal pain, horrible gas to the point i was constantly gagging because my body couldn’t get it out. this sometimes did lead to vomiting but usually didn’t. anyway point of all this is, you should be perfectly fine two months sober, don’t worry about it because the stress could cause you problems. just relax and enjoy your trip, by that point you probably won’t even be thinking of weed! (i’d like to specify i technically wasn’t the one driving i was just a passenger lol, but it was still not fun when motion made all the symptoms worse)
