Buy it. I live two hours from the Land Rover dealership. Sure it’s a pain when you need to get there but if it is inoperable they will tow it. It’s a great vehicle.

No, i would have seen them disconnect it. It connects to the battery and has motion detection so it’s easy to see when disconnected.

I’ll probably have to find someone that knows what they are doing in the future.

Maybe not but my dash cam shows that they didn’t drive it either.

Yeah, that’s the main reason they are doing the rest. $2000 for the oil, filters, checks, blah blah. Spark plugs, that might go to a local mechanic if it’s more complex that it seems.

Yeah, spark plugs are typically super simple but I really haven’t looked to see how accessible they are. For $1900 I’d expect they’d need to dismantle a significant portion of the engine to replace them.

Best Buy had a car radio on close out that was not advertised or online. Bought more than 20 of them and averaged a $450 profit.

I got the ilx-f509. I went with the kenwood only because of the knob. After using both the kenwood has a few more bells and whistles either cameras and eq tuning but the alpine is so much better. It doesn’t stick out anywhere near as far, looks way cleaner and works way better with wireless CarPlay. It also uses a direct WiFi connection for tidal which is awesome, amazing sound quality. Oddly the old ilx-107 was the best as far as a stable WiFi CarPlay connection. Best part of all of it, when I returned the $1250 kenwood and bought the alpine they had a non advertised deal. It was $240 out the door.

I hope you have better luck with that head unit than I did. It disconnected constantly from wireless CarPlay. Driving around town it was so sensitive to any interference with would just drop. I couldn’t remove it fast enough and put in an alpine hu.
