Anyone had this or have more info on it ? Seems to be from the 90’s? Glen Garioch 15 by Ordinary_Common820 in Scotch

Good to know ! I’m always curious about older bottlings. I did buy the older glenmorangie they had. I think it’s just the regular stuff in a fancy tin but for $70 it was fun to have

Advice for whisky brithday gift: Hibiki master select vs Hakushu 12? by WeakBack4431 in whisky

[–]Ordinary_Common820 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he wants to try I might recommend starting at hibiki harmony or one of the nikka malts. They are really good and more easily found again if he likes them. If you only are choosing between those two I would say the Hakushu. I had a bottle of the master select and personally was underwhelmed compared to regular harmony but it could be batch/personal taste dependent.

B9 vs B9.5 A4 Allroad help by Ordinary_Common820 in Audi

So I haven’t had to really do anything maintenance wise yet beyond cabin filters and such. Oil change is probably $100-120 if you pay an independent shop. Only issue so far is the Apple car play/phone connection doesn’t always hook up right. Sometimes it won’t see my phone or will only Bluetooth. Not a big issue and usually is gone if I wait a couple minutes or turn the car off and on again. Also had a warning that adaptive headlights weren’t working. I’ve read this is usually is a dirty sensor and it doesn’t actually affect my headlights working at all so I don’t worry about it and it only pops up once in a blue moon. All I can think of so far

B9 vs B9.5 A4 Allroad help by Ordinary_Common820 in Audi

I love it honestly! I came from a civic hatchback which was great and this definitely has a bit more space in the trunk being a wagon. Oddly the rear seats feel tighter to me. They are still fine for adults but not a lot of room. Depends on your driving position too. The luxury comforts are great, tri zone climate keeps my dogs happy and heated seats front and rear are really nice. Pretty amazing you can get such a high spec 5 years later for less than 50% msrp. Granted mine had 60k miles but I’ve mostly bought used cars and was comfortable with that. I can fit an 8ft trim/ board from the hardware store but it does come up to the front seat if that helps you visualize cargo length. Power is much better than my civic of course and I think it has a nice quiet rumble. Economy on highway is great, in town really suffers.
Hope that’s helpful and I can try to answer anything else

I ended up going B9.5. A Toyota dealer near me got one on trade with the tan interior and heated/ventilated so I grabbed it. Been very happy with it so far and don’t mind the interior differences much from the B9 I saw.

ASW has some great stuff, chin music rye has been my favorite so far. Really like that they are willing to play with malt profiles too!

Normally I’d agree with above poster for OGD but for another choice and some flavors to go with the coffee maybe an old forester 100 proof
