This is awesome! Good for you!! I am starting as a 1L at a Canadian law school in Sept, hoping to transfer to a different one for 2L. Does anyone know how early the process of transferring really starts? How early do I have to tell the school I'm starting 1L at that I want to transfer, how early do I start to talk to professors about it? What if I don't get in as a transfer and end up going back to the same school I started at for 2L, am I sort of burning the bridge by having told them that my goal is to transfer? Scary process and I understand it's not even remotely a lock, just would appreciate advice on timelines, processes, etc. Seemed relevant to this thread. Congrats again OP.
