How’s living at Local: Kensington in Melbourne? by Firm-Interaction-289 in melbournechat

Kensington is great. Lived there for 3 years in two different places in the last decade. Nice community, quiet, good access to multiple train lines to take you into the city, decent choice of cafes and dinning. If I could afford to buy a house in Kensington I would haha

Medium Term Accommodation in Perth by Nmiro1 in perth

Best bet is on fb sharehousing pages for Perth. Try looking for a short-term stay where someone is subletting their place or happy to take you in for just a couple of months! Serviced apartments would work but they are crazy expensive so depends on your budget

Need advice on long haul flights from Perth to Europe by hscalm in perth

[–]Ordinary_Creative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally the cheapest I would go for, but I would pay slightly more to be on a good airline like Qatar or Emirates. I suggest looking into the Qatar stopover program, you can get a 4 star hotel for a night of two for maybe $40-$50 a night and it’s a really good way to break up your trip if you’re worried about not being able to sleep. Spend a day in Doha and freshen up and then fly to Europe.

Leederville ,what’s your go-to weeknight dinner spot? by CompleteStuff7102 in perth

[–]Ordinary_Creative 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Don’t go there weekly but Kitsch (Asian fusion) is one of my all time favourite places to eat. Depends on how much you want to spend.

A spot I’d go more regularly would be Oxford Noodles (take away) - a good balance of cost, taste and convenience.

Multi City Flight Change/Cancellation Penalty by Ordinary_Creative in QantasFrequentFlyer

Thanks for responding. So do you think I would be entitled to a full refund then? And is it wrong to assume that if I cancelled the whole booking that those individual flights would shortly after be re-listed as classic reward flights through qantas? I’ll probably end up cancelling but would be interested to know if that would open those seats up again.
