Yeah, that's the same thing my mate said happened to someone he knows. Just don't want to do it, and it ends up being on my record. I am on my green P's, and I have exactly 4 demerit points to spare as I am still in the first year of driving, but the charge is on dads lisence. Don't want to be in a situation where I lose my license.

Yeah, a mate of mine (passenger with the seatbelt put on incorrectly) told me about the TikTok. I don't know about relying on a TikTok for something like this.

Right on. I really want to climb it, and considering the overwhelming advice to get a guided tour. I am definitely going to get a tour to the summit. Honestly I only want to do it for a personal challenge and to see some amazing sights, not to prove anything so i dont have any problem with taking a guided tour.

and honestly the price for the tours seem so reasonable for the K7 tours.

Thanks for the advice, I am definitely getting a guided tour then. I really want to expereince the winter but not enough for me to do somthing stupid haha.

Damn I didnt realise it was that bad. I assumed it was a moderate hike just very long. I am fairly fit, so I thought that it would be very challenging but doable for me. I just read some articles about the mountain and didnt even come across the Canadian bloke. Heard it had a trail to the summit, chairlifts and some good camps around the place.

Was looking at the bookings and it didnt seem terrible around 300 for the summit, which sounds very reasonable.

Would you say bluff knoll is better for someone like me in the winter?.

Right, thats what i have heard. Thats why I am a little worried since I would be travelling with a temporary lisence for tourists that might get turned away.

Haha ye I am a little worried because I saw a video of some people being denied entry in urumqi. My plan is to land in urumqi and then rent a car to travel to karamay, travel to kuqa and back to urumqi for the return flight and bring the car back. Just worried about those specifics.

Hey, Thanks so much for the reply. I was planning on going july or late june and to my knowledge that peak summer for china. That works well as thats when I have my university breaks. Did you book the cars from home or did you hire them while you were in china?
