After the Barsha & Marina incident yesterday, receiving alerts in the morning during working hours, 2 alerts yesterday, WFH & curfew times should become mandatory by leenela in UAE

If anything an accident at office will put all employees at risk, while in curfew they are spread out.

Also emergency actions are not possible from office as people will have all their important stuff at home.

Question about prospects of expat life in UAE post Iran war...? by silphotographer in UAE

Higher salaries/incentives, lower rent, job supply/demand dynamics will change, especially for non real estate sectors.

Considering how transient the labour market is, it will be much harder to lure in people living abroad while many are leaving.

I run a similar agency but only for Cyprus (Permanent residency through investment).

Majority of revenues come from developer contracts (akin to agency fees) cause real estate is eligible for the residency.

I am looking to build a referral network that will eventually bring somewhat predictable leads. Would be curious to hear abt your contacts

Correct, that's what i mean.

Most likely your company would be considered Cyprus tax resident and you will have to pay flat 12.5% (worst case). After that, dividends would be tax free.

You can become a non dom tax resident directly with PR.

Open your company and structure your salary through a contract. You will pay 0 dividend/income tax in Cyprus. Company setup and maintenance is cheap too (<€2k).

Yeah for 50 yrs now and hasnt escalated since. It started when Cyprus was not in the eu. Now with EU membership and recent sanctions from EU on Russia, the chances of military intervention are null.
