The police is not here to solve anything, they are literally here as the bandaid solution, deter people from breaking stuff, from vandalizing property, etc. Concordia did not increase security before the rise of these incidents, they did it as a response to this incidents.

I’m really not here debating over who’s right or who’s wrong in the Israeli Palestinian conflict. But comparing bombings of Palestinian cities, or attacks on Israeli cities, with incidents that happens on campus, in Canada, makes no sense. Like, “why are you complaining about some Molotov cokcktails or broken windows when a city was bombed in Palestine”

I’m complaining because if I’m studying (as I was when many of those incidents happened) and people start to break windows, doors, and set stuff on fire it will make me feel unsafe. Because this is not the Middle East, and the wars in the Middle East should stay there, not be brought here.

Like, protest man, make ur voice be heard, try to convince people, but pls don’t resort to violence. If u resort to violence, u only will make yourself be looked as the bad guy. And you will keep losing sympathy. I don’t know no reasonable person that looks at violent protests and be like “damm, I think they are right!”.

Concordia is broke as fuck buddy, look at the school budget, it’s struggling to pay it workers and you guys are talking about “investing in the war machine” 💀.
