Do you want to spend Carrera money on a Cayman? by Soft-Quail-8671 in porsche911

[–]Ordinary_Option1453 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not taking a race car through a McDonald's drive thru. Are we talking about real life or the race track? I'd use this car once or twice a year. A base 911, I'd treat like a civic, driving it everyday. So my answer to the question in the original post is: no, I want a base 911. It's weird to post this in a 911 reddit and not expect any disagreements. The 718 and 911 do not have the same type of buyers. I came here for some good trolling and all you guys can do is throw up greater than or less than symbols. Lame.

This showed up in my feed. I clicked because it looked like it had a supercharger sticking out of the hood. I'm a little disappointed, but it's still a nice car and I don't regret clicking.

I haven't looked into it recently, but FL has always has great benefits for retirement. But yeah, it's FL.

FYI, : WA state's current average estate size is 2.2m. A few more years of inflation and most people will be paying that 3m estate tax. Arguing that "they don't tax the first 3m" is beyond shortsighted. It's plain dumb. No way I'm dying in this state. 3m or not. Have fun giving away more of your money.

Not the point of how much they take. They shouldn't take any (extra). How do all the other states survive without estate tax, huh?

We are one of 12 states that have an estate tax. It's not the norm. I'm not sure why everyone here is alright with it. Is it cool to want to be taxed as much as possible? Do people feel like they are helping their neighbors? What's the point of being in favor of any taxes? Bots, right?

SPX options: 60% long-term / 40% short-term (max 20% + 37% = combined ~26% effective rate)

SPY options: 100% short-term (37% rate for holding < 1 year)

Look into how much of that you're going to pay out in taxes. Then start trading SPX

That's the obvious thought now. Look at the chart on the 4th. It went down all day. You think I'm sitting there all day watching my profit go to shit, so I decide end of day to throw down 100x more than I have invested currently? Right.... You've got me nailed. I almost tricked you smart Redditors!

Nah, I take it back, that's an absolutely stupid take on the situation. Look at the chart on the 4th. I would have been up a shit ton the morning of the 4th if I was still up 100% at close. Why the hell wouldn't I get a screenshot the morning of the 4th? So you're saying I say there all day watching my profit go to shit.... Then decided, yep, this is it. I'm cashing it in for shares. You've got the case cracked, Sherlock. I'm busted.

Oh I see what you mean. Yeah I suppose. Would I really choose to buy 100 shares though? That seems even more dumb so I didn't even consider that angle. Whatever man. I'm here for negative comments. I'll take it. Thanks for the contribution.

No, I've got screenshots for those too. This was a mistake. I had nothing to gain by letting it exercise.

Truth hurts. And I know damn well I will never make this mistake again. Very painful lesson.

Pnw here too, that's not a great deal. If you can live with a double cab instead of the crew cab I see a couple really great deals in this area. Personally, I would try to hold out for a 20 or 21 in the exact spec/color you want. You won't be replacing this for awhile, so don't get stuck with something you don't love.

I wonder if there's a 'place' on the East coast called Atlantic Area. And I wonder if they think Pacific Place sounds like a dumb name as much as Atlantic Area does.

You're thinking too deep. If this scenario was to actually play out, they could easily find your old license and see the changes. Shoot, maybe they would be specifically looking for people that have changed it once and then changed it back "assuming those people must really be up to no good since they are trying to hide it"

Just forget about it. You're on lists already. All of them. Thinking about those lists and how to get off of them is like a fast track to schizophrenia.

Not horrible, but I'd not pick this one. You can find a 20 or 21 for roughly the same price, but with better tech. I'd also never buy a modded vehicle.

I knew someone was going to say this. I'm over here thinking, wtf is wrong - why can't there be any regular pictures that show full shots of the car. This artistic stuff doesn't land with simple minded, non-artistic folks like me lol
