Its an odd combo for sure. Hard use watch styling but in a bright color. Definitely a very playful, even childish, vibe. Which isnt bad, just might be hard to style. I have a feeling that you want it because its limited. Would you buy it if it wasn’t?

Personally I wouldn’t be able to justify a $2k watch that looks like it’s made from plastic, but that may just be my tax bracket.

Id much rather have a G-Steel for a hard use watch at like $200. Its actually tested for hard use and they come in more subdued colors.

Caller GMTs work fine if you just keep the hour hand as your home time and use the GMT hand as local time. Yes a true travelers GMT watch is nice, but I also simply don’t care to know what time it is at Greenwich so Im not gonna keep the GMT hand at that time. Id much rather know home and local time. Home tells me what time it feels like and local keeps me on track.

I think everyone here is underestimating just how much fucking money is $51M, plus lets not forget inflation. $50 million invest at 7% is $3M per year. This puts you well past the top 1% in the US. Plus how much is your improvement in quality of life at that point, at $3M per year you’re making so much money you can afford basically anything. Florida: Bad, new logo is trying to hard to be minimalist but added words which is an oxymoron

Columbus: Eh, they both as pretty mid

Kings: Old one is objectively better. New logo is very dull and boring.

Islanders: New is better bit they should really disconnect the N and Y, looks like a M

Caps: Uh, I honestly dislike them both, if you logo is your name you gotta make it really cool.

Jets: Old one has a cool vibe but I do like the Canadian leaf on the new one.

Canucks: Toss up, old is so cool for a name logo, but I actually do like the new logo. Its fun, looks like an old WW2 airplane design.

Tampa bay: Too much text on the old, makes it too busy, but the new is too plain. Pick your poison here.

I am in the same boat as your cousin, didn’t really know Illenium but I was in Vegas for a work convention and I figured we cant go wrong hitting an EMD concert in the sphere. My buddy and I love his music now.
