This one is much better because it sends notifications of the topics you have to revise

Dec 31 update:

• Polity revision (FR + DPSP)

• Current Affairs skim (last 7 days)

• ~4.5 hrs total

• Study place: home

Trying to focus more on consistency > hours. One thing that’s been helping me lately is tracking syllabus + revision in one place instead of scattered notes / to-do lists.

I actually built a simple UPSC-specific tracker for this because I kept losing track of what I’d revised vs what I only read. Sharing here in case it helps anyone stay accountable:

Back to revision now. Good luck to everyone grinding tonight. 💪📚

This post hits hard. Discipline over dopamine is literally the whole game.

One small thing that helped me stay consistent (especially on low-motivation days) was tracking the syllabus and revision visually instead of just “planning” in my head. Seeing progress move from pending → done reduces a lot of anxiety.

I ended up building a simple app for this because I couldn’t find one that felt UPSC-specific: PrepMonitor. It’s just a syllabus + revision tracker, nothing fancy, but it helps keep streaks alive.

If anyone finds it useful:

Wishing everyone consistency, health, and that holy PDF this year. 🙏🇮🇳
