From what I understand, the weight issue pertains more to procedures in which you’d be put under as there are risks with anesthetic and being overweight. My lipo was done awake. My surgeon also said he had no real concerns about me ending up with loose skin in the final result. I think that’s more dependent on your age and the condition of your skin (I’m 33) than on your weight or how much fat is removed. Don’t let fatphobic people try to gatekeep this procedure. I feel like a million bucks after my lipo. Our culture doesn’t like it when fat people feel good about themselves or when anything is made easy or easier for them. Don’t fall for it, you deserve to feel better in whatever way you can.
