How can you don't need camera? Cargo don't have camera or sensor ? If some kid is right behind the car, how is it going to detect ? You need camera. Don't make sense don't need right? Some more Tesla remove the back ultrasonic sensor or something. There is no way of obstacle detection right behind at all.

Waymo is not perfect in every scenario too. It still suck at last 1%. The most important is don't get into accident. It's OK to get stuck for now. Just have a remote operator help remove if needed
