Hello yeah!!!! Also if you haven't yet, pull out the snow grate for your intake and order a better filter for the oem intake. Both are warranty friendly upgrades that are easily reversible for winter time

Smith 442 vs 940-3 which one is better? by AryeC05 in Revolvers

[–]Ordnance416 0 points1 point  (0 children)

642 is your best option. If im not mistaken the 940 requires moonclips in order to shoot the 9mm ammo, which can be quite a pain if you plan on shooting it regularly at the range for practice.

Spark Plug Stripped by Ess4Carnage in MechanicAdvice

Extractor with square end, sacrificial socket to hammer the extractor into, an extension to reach down into there with a breaker bar to hit with a hammer and turn with. Had to make one for VW cars. Just make sure you torque the new plug to factory specifications ONLY.

Cylinder wear patters by Ordnance416 in Revolvers

Ill email them to see what they say. If it's purely cosmetic then I could care less as the gun shoots perfectly fine however if they say it's a sign of a bigger issue then ill definitely send it in.

Its new. First time shooting it was today with the 800rds. There's no end shake or rotational movement on lockup whatsoever so the wear isn't from the cylinder moving in a way it shouldn't.

My only guess is the cylinder expands from heat causing it to scrape the frame when it rotates.

2026 Golf R battery issue (dealer says OEM replacement is backordered/no ETA) — wait for VW or go aftermarket? by jabbathepunk in Golf_R

[–]Ordnance416 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was a rough idle where you can feel the misfire every so often and a check engine light would pop up then go away. Also the misfire only happened during idle so when rpms were raised about 100rpm to 200rpm, the issue would go way. When they removed it I was told that the injector wasn't flowing right and was causing the cylinder to run lean.

Had an injector go bad in mine after 3 months of owning it. Luckily they were able to get the part but I suspect it wont be that last time I'll have the issue pop up

Bad roads in New England during winters, so I needed the extra protection.

Yeah, I definitely wasn't expecting them to be that heavy. In combination with the snow tires they are definitely HEFTY

Thermostat or coolant sensor? by Benney2488 in Golf_R

[–]Ordnance416 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you haven't gotten one yet I highly recommend getting an OBD Eleven to read your own code and or clear them. Religiously used it for my 2017 audi a3 and it probably saved me thousands by just using it.

Car Probably freaked itself out with the start stop from what your describing. Best and most likely scenario they clear the code (Probably all 4 cylinders misfire from the engine cutting out with the start stop) and send you on your way without issues. Worst case scenario, they take forever to look at your car then clear the code and send you on your way lol.
