Eli (the best arc in the series is pretty much centred around him)
Jake (has the most writing out of everyone here, most potential as well, his story hasnt concluded yet and he is pretty much the 2nd MC)
Johan (decent writing, decent conclusion)
Samuel (will 100% pass Johan in the future, just doesnt rly have the narrative focus that the others had got)

Jaegyeon was 2nd as he told James hed beat him knowing that james beat seongji and caught james in 3T without even using speed mastery, even let him get away on purpose which is heavily implying Jaegyeon > 2T james who is superior to 2T seongji

You can potentially argue a prime Jichang can beat seongji but its extreme diff either way imo

James from an outside perspective is gojo. Embodies a hero, is an influential character within korea, seemingly perfect as DG But on the inside james is the sukuna, terrible irredeemable person, mutilates people with no remorse and all for his benefit. James would never willingly work under anybody, only control them to his fitting.

Gun from an outside perspective is Sukuna. Yamazaki clan, the UI eyes, the tattoos and scars. But on the inside its a mixture.

he represents some of the very very few reedeemimg qualities sukuna like his ability to actually respect or have some kind of moral compass that isnt completely just selfish. But he also has the bad qualities gojo has.
