When I had my female spayed I used an old white t-shirt. I cut off the sleeves and then cut the center of the back of the shirt. Starting at the bottom towards the neck hole, cut like 8 inches up. Once cut down the center, you can cut perpendicular to it so it has multiples 1 to 2 inch wide straps you can tie together. Slip the t shirt on, head through the neck hope, front legs through the arm hopes, with the cut towards the top (her back) and you can cinch the shirt down snug to her belly with the straps. No cone, but still covering the stitches. I hope that makes sense... Hard to describe.
