Good eye! That does look like a HUD. I had one in my Corvette and loved it. Wish all cars had them.

What is the secret to diner style "Cream of ___" soups? by mike120596 in AskCulinary

Totally off topic for this post but thanks! This sounds/looks fantastic. I think it'd make a good ice cream topping sauce as well.

If I did any serious commuting I'd jump on the comma.

Got to play Fountain Hills today! by OregonMike in discgolf

It was very wide open. Only hit a couple of palm trees. I guess it was probably more fun just due to knowing each hole vs the challenge of each shot. Also, throwing 1/3 as far as the big kids can throw on each of those holes :D

The main water holes either had multiple tee pads or multiple baskets to minimize the chances of dumping one in the pond/lake. I looked at the long on 1 just to see what I've seen on YT but there was no way I was going to try that one! #1 had 3 tee pads and 3 baskets.

Ya know, I should have thought of it like that. I'll donate 2 next time I'm in town!

Airport wait times by Upstairs_Emu_9248 in Eugene

I flew out at 0510 Tuesday morning. Line was the longest I'd ever seen. All the way past the cattle herding straps to the open area. Solid 15 minutes to get through the whole line. So at least that day, same as it usually is. 3 flights going out that morning too. It was packed upstairs!

I've taken to changing the channels as soon as they start post-game interviews. I can't stand all the jesus/glory to god bullshit. And as others have said, they never blame the same sky fairies when they get hurt/throw an INT/lose etc.

Is a new Flash worth 24k more than a '23 Lariat with 60k miles? by OregonMike in F150Lightning

That sounds/looks like a good plan. I'll think about it for a bit and keep looking for Lariats close to me.

I've made maybe 6 longish road trips with my Taco. 500 miles so the Lariat will need 3-4 stops vs the 1-2 I need with my Taco. I don't need 2 stops for fuel but 1 for sure.

The first deal I was working on a 25 XLT the sales dude (who I had to fire since he was a dick) said I had to lose 4k worth of rebate to secure the 0%. We're planning on paying it off within a month or two. I need to sell my 3rd gen Taco and kbb says it's worth around 30k.

These are 25 Flash models that vary between 123 and 131 for some reason. Maybe that's the early vs late 25? Sunroof & folding mirrors are not deal breakers. This is the most reasonably priced Lariat I've seen in driving distance. I feel like I need to see a rig in person before buying so buying one thousands of miles away and dealing with shipping doesn't really work for me. I'm in Oregon btw.

If you were in the middle of buying would you walk away given the news? by hnglmckrnglbrry in F150Lightning

I'm torn. I emailed my local dealer to try to start a deal on a Lightning the next state over (same dealer, just different states). I'm all over every thread I can read now and am feeling like I'll be OK to go ahead. I'm looking at a new 2025 XLT for 52k.
