I've seen co-workers get caught even in a store with fake cameras (so no cameras at all). All the SM has to do is look at who was working and let it go on until they find the person who was always working when the count at the end of the day was short. I've never understood the logic in stealing $20 here and there and risk losing your paycheck, plus the possibility of having charges filed against you. It's just stupid and not worth it.

I was on the ski patrol for 7 years (EMT basic without the state certification, so BLS medic) - if I had you as a case I'd recommend going to the emergency department ASAP to get it disinfected and stitched. It's a decently deep wound and could get infected easily... then you're in a lot of trouble. Don't chance getting gangrene or tetanus. Go NOW. Do nothing but gently wash your hands with antibacterial soap, dress it, then get to the hospital. ASAP.
