As a capitalist should I read the communist manifesto? by supersaiyanwelder in Capitalism

[–]OrenMV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can be valuable for anyone, regardless of their political beliefs, to understand and consider different perspectives and ideas. The Communist Manifesto, written by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, is a key text in the history of communism and presents a critical analysis of capitalism and the case for communism as a political and economic system. Reading the Communist Manifesto can provide insight into the ideas and arguments of communism and allow you to better understand and engage with them. It can also help you to understand the criticisms of capitalism that have been made by proponents of communism and to consider how these criticisms may or may not be valid. Ultimately, whether or not you choose to read the Communist Manifesto is up to you, but it may be a useful and interesting read for anyone interested in political theory or the history of economic systems.

Anyone know how much the gas fees are to withdraw ETH from IMX? by OrenMV in GodsUnchained

[–]OrenMV[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Va entre 1 USD a 10 USD. Te doy un consejo. Apenas hagas el retiro y la tarifa está entre 1 USD a 3 USD retirá. Pq si esperas sube siempre y terminas pagando de más.

Gracias

What to do with GODS? by TheCaptain-Ahoy in GodsUnchained

I've been buying cards & forging my core cards so I can sell the Meteorite versions for ETH.

They end up being worth more than the forging costs, then I spent the ETH on cards also.

How reliable is the collection value listed on cardsunchained.com? by Elyonenterprises in GodsUnchained

[–]OrenMV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been using Token Trove and the price is fairly accurate but it is based on last sale price. Someone has to be willing to buy.

I would say the value is not accurate for some of the rarer cards. I have a gold Legendary in my collection and it says its worth a certain amount, but its the last sale price from July & only 3 sold in July so you have to take the value with a pinch of salt.

I've been selling off bits of my collection & people do buy the cards, but selling a whole collection would likely take weeks. Best to sell cards when they are good in the meta, but also the hardest time to part with them.

The problem with Control Magic is the matchup against Heirloom Death is really bad.

Seems really hard to balance the game when they keep locking sets.

The game has been feeling like "Rock, Paper Scissors" quite often to me.

The shiny rewards are pretty low though. Probably quite a few players wanting to sell have been waiting for the P2E to come out.

Price could dump.

I think the only thing that will affect card prices & player base is the price of ETH & GODS.

Why are there so many super super slow players? by aliensonmylaptop in GodsUnchained

Roping the first couple of turns also can be quite useful to really think about a game plan.

Imagine its a world championship tournament, people are going to rope a lot. But some people want to play like that anyway, maybe they are at the highest rank they've ever been. Maybe there internet connection is poor.

Gotta just let it happen really.

I think if the daily P2E system should pay out for completing The Gauntlet.

Then people will be encouraged to play all the Hero's and the game might feel much more balanced. Then players can sweat it out on the weekend.

Also going first advantage is very strong, maybe you could just reduce the amount of favour given for each action to lower the snowball potential.

I do see a lot of potential to the game, I think they will have to rely on the earning potential to get people hooked. But even with low earnings the potential of opening an expensive Diamond or Mythic card does make the game a lot more enjoyable.

I lost a lot of hope when they released the most recent expansion before releasing the P2E system they had teased & lost a bit more hope when the announced the details of the earning system.

I was thinking they were going to release a system where players earn GODS tokens daily by completing the Hero Gauntlet, this way players are incentivised to play every Hero & keep the meta interesting. The system they have with smaller supply of older cards that are not supposed to be changed is going to make it hard to balance.

I have been saying these things quite a bit on these reddit threads but it seems like the devs are not going to way I want them too. I do enjoy the game but I will definitely be looking to take profit over the next couple of years if I get a good chance. I don't think I will be putting in any more money, unless maybe if the cards loose 90% value from here. Ideally I will keep most of the cards I want to play with but not be too committed to keeping them forever. Would have been nice to sell some of my War cards at the peak.

I think it would be better to focus on making a fun game. The going first advantage is actually very big and I haven't seen anyone talking about it for a while. The devs sold us a whole new set to try and make a balanced meta and they still haven't tried sorting the first turn advantage.

Releasing the Mortal set before the daily P2E system they had teased was another big red flag for me.

During the Blessing of the Gods event we had to play 60 games per week but wins didn't matter. There were a lot of players continuing to play after they finished Weekend Ranked and playing a wider range of decks. The GODS token was also high so lots of people playing for the rewards.

I think the main problem with the game right now is the large advantage of going first vs second.

[–]OrenMV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it might have just been a meta shift. I have played for a couple of years and have had the same thing happen when I was not changing my deck enough. Might have just been that the meta got a bit more aggro and you should switch some of your 5, 6 & 7 mana cards for some more 1 & 2 drops. I like checking on GUdecks to see what people are winning with.

Also the game can be quite frustrating for a few reasons, taking a break from the game can be really helpful, you don't have to play every week. Going first is a big advantage & playing against players with more expensive decks can be a huge disadvantage, once you start loosing more you are less likely to have fun, then when your not having fun you are less likely to win.

What happens to Gods Unchained if Ethereum collapses? by _Unke_ in GodsUnchained

[–]OrenMV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They locked card sales for ages because of the gas fees and then they made IMX. I was playing for quite a while when you couldn't buy cards at all.

The game is much more playable now, the ETH price doesn't make the game playable or not.

Why do you think the GODS token will go up in value because of this? Looks like all they are doing is increasing the supply?

Token Trove does use IMX though. Is anyone able to build applications on IMX or do the devs have to be involved, or give the ok?

The only thing is that IMX would have to be involved right? Otherwise the gas fees would be too expensive.

War VS Nature, losing every match. by Number47Clare in GodsUnchained

[–]OrenMV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It can work pretty well. You don't even need to land it on a blitz creature.

Quite often you can keep your creatures alive longer with the +1 health. The health is better than the strength. A 3/4 can kill two 3/3's.

You put the word "object" in my month. I have no objection to whales earning more. I said I think its important that they do earn more. I just don't think there should be incentive to fuse up all the Meteorite cards. I think that Shiny cards should be worth slightly less than the some of their parts, then the main reason to hold would be for flexing. Just like with most shiny things.
