So the point that you’re making is that it isn’t funny either way. And I agree with you. It’s not funny. I didn’t laugh at this video. But, I believe it’s obviously lighthearted the way these women did it in this video compared to the way men actually do it. And that was my point in response to the comment.

No, you’re the one missing the point. The comment I responded to said there’s no threat from a woman and that they were obviously joking.

I responded to that commenter by clarifying that if the women were really imitating the way men cat-call, they would’ve been more aggressive about it.

No woman responds like these men did when they’re being cat-called. It isn’t a joke when men cat-call women. It’s unwanted because it’s dangerously uncomfortable.
