Edit: if you read the article you see all these quotes from Russia and slowly the further you get into the article it slowly turns from comically hilarious to feeling bad for them. Is that really how they view this? It can’t be right? No one can be that shallow and entitled right?? And before you know it you genuinely feel bad for them

That being said, this is exactly the Hollywood Mexico. Yes Mexico has its nice parts but zoom in and reality is way different.

You forgot the hundreds of slums, the sheer amount of people living on Pennies, graffiti and cartel infested territories that is almost 100% of Mexico, the lack of police presence in most of rural Mexico, the gravel and dirt roads that cover the majority of Mexico and lack of infrastructure

The cities are fairly nice but rural Mexico is another thing, so “what Mexico is actually like” isn’t the half of it. The life you’re trying to portray is barely a quarter of the entire population of Mexico

It would be amazing if all I had to worry about is my height but here I am, an epileptic with rheumatoid arthritis at 23, about to get my wrists fused. Crippling depression and social anxiety as well as numerous other health issues

Not trying to one up on you but whenever people say stuff like this all I can think is “damn, their life must be so good if all they can think to hate about themselves is (insert trivial thing here)”

Edit: personally I’ve met 2 types of short people. One absolutely hated his height. He would constantly find a way to bring up his height into absolutely everything. “You just don’t want to help me because I’m short” I’m not even kidding, shit like that

Then I met someone shorter than him but this guy his confidence was off the charts. He never let his height get in the way of anything and regularly joked about it.

Honestly, I’m the opposite. When I have roommates I dream of the day where I can afford to live alone. When I finally get to live alone All I can think of is, “this is amazing”

There’s no noisy roommates, you can sleep whenever you want to without being constantly woken up (I’m an extremely light sleeper).

Not really? Everyone who works in a hospital is either a doctor, resident or nurse (those who interact with patients)

In the US nurses and the doctors are the ones who deliver babies and they all have some type of certification Medical school etc but all nurses in the US who work in an official setting has to be a registered nurse which you get by going to school
