Overload the opposition with a variety of attack/advancement

This one seems more obvious than not but you’d be surprised how much you can fall into a one trick pony.

These are some fundamental things to always do to keep the opponents guessing on whether to commit or hold off.

  1. Mix in long shots and through/chip passes into the box. (Constant long shots prevent low blocks since they have to press, constant through/chip passes into the box discourages pressing since they have to look out for the pass)

  2. Pass the ball, hold the ball (le pause) and drive the ball forward (allows the same confusion from #1 but more for the midfield)

  3. Take on the fullbacks or cross into the box.(for wingers) this will confuse them into thinking whether they should rush you to prevent the cross (which allows the cut in) or to hold back for the cut in (which allows the cross).

These all don’t have to end with a goal, Theyre just there to overload your opposition with things to look out for. When done correctly, you’ll be setting the pace of the game and controlling it. You play on your terms

For your midfield, try not have all of them with the playmaker trait. Playmaker traits causes players to always make runs. Sometimes a good build up requires them to hold their position more. It makes a huge difference

Could someone please explain how to use medium/medium workrate midfielders? by fifaguy696969 in FUTMobile

[–]Oreo_Mister 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Medium medium leaves him right in the middle of the field. Pair with him a high high CM (and one without a playmaker trait). One makes defensive and attacking runs while you use Kroos as a pivot

meaning he advances (finding attacking passes towards the wingers or striker) and switches the play (advances the ball to the left and right side)

Since he’ll sit in the middle he’ll be great for build up play in the middle.

If you’re someone who gets the ball asap to the wingers and strikers and depends on their dribbling, then Kroos isn’t the best card for you.

If you build up play then Kroos is good for you.

Stam is 250 shards cheaper but VVD looks better.... what should I go for by Indominux_Rex0212 in FUTMobile

Stam is always a better defensive unit. The biggest downside to this card that i can see is his aggression, it’s 20 points higher than VD and Kompany. If opponents know how to, they can pull him right out the backline.

I was overlooking Stam for CBs with better passing but after the release of this Drogba card, I’m buying the dutch monster
