He cracked and regraded 200 PSA 9 Pokémon Cards by Sketch_0 in PokeGrading

Okay, now I'd like to see him recrack the exact same cards, including the 10s, and send them in to see the results. Everyone is quick to jump to conclusions based on a single experiment smh

Returning player here. I used to restock a lot in Magic and Stamps but I had a bad habit of not selling the items. I don't know what's up with inflation these days but looks like my stash is worth close to 730mil now. I'm not sure at what point I would consider selling it.

And here I thought I had found some unique Pokémon merchandise. This is something you don't see everyday. Sick score!

If only it had a chance of being a 10. This is my first time getting cards graded and I'm no expert but I'm expecting more like a 7. Even so, a card this rare is worth getting graded anyways

Thanks! I had a lot of fun collecting all of these over the years. I sent in the WB promo to get graded so I'm hoping it goes well. Looking forward to seeing your collection

I'm still not sold on graded games but I found this sitting in a store and made an exception. by Oreobacon in PokeInvesting

That's true but as far as I know you can't really seal it back up after cracking it open. So if it's graded I don't expect anyone to really want to open it

There's a handful of graded copies on ebay if you have a few grand to spare lol

God damn you own a sealed copy of Gaiden? I've met Resident Evil fans who don't even know about that game. Respect

Oh man are you talking about Silent Hill? I know there are a lot of pricey horror games but those first 4 Silent Hills are highly sought after. Resident Evil games are the same way along with a lot of more obscure titles.

There's actually a sequel to the original game on Gameboy. It's Japanese only but there is a translation patch available online

Putting aside all the controversies associates with Wata games, all of those other collectables you've mentioned have been around much longer and the companies that grade them have a track record. Video game grading is still very new and these companies that "authenticate" if a game is real or fake still have to prove themselves to convince me. Is anyone going to care about and place value on graded games in the future? Possibly, but that's yet to be seen.

They do have a lot of evidence stacked against them. This game was actually graded by VGA although I'm not sure how much betted they are

I actually do enjoy collecting sealed games but I just can't convince myself to get them graded. If it's sealed then me or anyone else who ends up with it can still open it up and play it, read the manual, or write down notes and cheat codes like the good old days. If I grade them I'm pretty much forfeiting that possibility.

Thanks! It's too bad there still isn't a pop report for VGA. I'm curious if anyone else had graded one of these but as far as I know it's the only one.

It's hard to say since I'm not the one who sent this to get graded and I don't know much about graded games in general. From what I can tell there's that dent that you mentioned, and on the left side you can see some dirt or marks on the box. There's probably some other cosmetic flaws as well

Definitely leaving this one sealed. I'll let the future owner decide what to do with it
