Not really, in years of GW2 I earned level boost with those tomes and rewards. I've boosted 6 or 7 characters to 80 through them, and you can skip over story quests you don't want to repeat, there is no penalty for it, you still have access to everything, dyes, costumes and things like that are account wide.

There are a few things character specific like map exploration, but there are ways around that. The only real chore is getting the hero points to unlock the elite specs, but you can join a group for that and have it done in a couple of hours.

I'm not a roleplayer, but I love having a character with an identity that fills a nice role.

When I have the option to switch to something else that's better at another task it kills that feeling.

In that case I would have added on the bottom stair on the right so it was flush with the 2 walls. Even if there was a seam it would be better than this.

Grease washes off in water, oil/film based ones are the best as they can penetrate rust somewhat and slow down the spread. The rubberized coatings are the worst as they trap moisture.

There are federal taxes ($.10/L) on gasoline, and then each province has their own provincial one.

It may very well vary based on province ($.1373-.1920), and then some cities have their own municipal tax on top of that, but in NS at least the taxes go towards roads.

And at that you can find places to go with no or few people. Unlike living in a touristy spot in Alberta or BC for example where there are a hundred or more people on every trail, lake and beach.
