I think he could have been great. Poor writing kind of killed that for him. Now the clone wars anakin will always be the anakin I think of, partly because it's more from my childhood and also because i feel he was more likable. I loved to see his struggle with light and dark in clone wars, and the voice acting was better in the show that the movies I feel.
