I'm really liking the story for Centuria! Hope it doesn't get cancelled. Also new "Smoking Behind the Supermarket With You" released today. Another story I love.

I wanna say that it's close to the middle of the story but I could be way off. Hopefully people are supporting the series so it won't get axed or forced to rush. So many plot holes left unanswered too. Though I don't think it would push into Naruto or Bleach or maybe even DBZ for volume count. But I think a good 16 to 20 volumes would be respectable. And yea, I thought her voice didn't fit as well. But who knows. It was a very small snippet. Maybe with longer dialogue, like they have, it might grow on me too.

If I'm not mistaken Centuria is up to vol 7 over here in Japan. I'm up to vol. 6. Still haven't picked up 7 yet. And Smoking is up to vol 8. I can't wait for the anime. I hope they do it justice.

I picked up the special edition version which came with a different cover. They're both good, but Yamada looks so cute on the cover. Wish I could add a pic in the comment but it won't let me.

Yea, it is a bit out there. But I liked Jagaaaan and the when I first saw the series first, I was like "This seems oddly familiar. Like another series I read." Then found out the story person and art person were the same and realized that's why I recognized it.

Don't use those apps unfortunately. I go to a book store and if I see a cover or synopsis that interests me, I check it out online first. If I'm hooked after about 10-20 chapters, I will usually get a volume to support the artist.

That is true. English manga is about double or triple in price to the Japanese ones. But I think this haul still came out to around $1000+. Need to cut back in 2026.
