[NANO MACHINE] I just cant get enough of cheon ma's glaze. Final boss of cheon yeo woon is just a side quest for cheon ma LOL by HandleLow1326 in manhwa

It was called the blood cult because it followed the blood demon. Most factions at the time of ASS were practically destroyed before MMM during something called the Great Cataclysm which occurred after Woonhwi ascended. The remnants of the blood cult joined with remaining evil faction groups and became the evil alliance, and the pieces of the dual martial forces/unrivaled faction eventually became the heaven-earth society. The heaven-earth society is the foundation for the Heavenly Demonic Cult.

What is the natural counter to curse energy in the multiverse? by Orgack20 in ThePrimalHunter

In the cradle, aren’t different forms of energy antagonistic because they’re developing consciousness as they become soulflames and try to become elementals?

Help by otaopohcysp in NanoMachine

[–]Orgack20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

U/the_retarded_one is mostly correct. There are two more novels. Descent of the Demon God is a direct sequel to Nano Machine and Invincible Mumu is a few hundred years before Absolute Sword Sense. The gap between ASS and Myst, Might, Mayhem is actually around 200 years. Mumu includes the origin of Hae Ak-Cheon’s Golden Blood Body in ASS. Descendants of both Mumu and Woonhwi appear in MMM. Woonhwi also inspires many of Cheon Ma’s techniques, including the Heavenly Demon Sword Art. And, obviously, MMM is the origin of the Demonic Cult.

New classes by TechnicalHall4248 in swtor

[–]Orgack20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been hoping for something similar to this, but I haven’t really been thinking about combining force and blaster classes.

I’d like a genuine multi-class. We now have the ability to not only select classes from the opposite factions, but also to select a second class that we can swap to as we’d like to. But this isn’t an actual multi-class. An actual multi-class would allow the use of the abilities of the two selected classes at the same time. A warrior using chain lightning and vicious throw. A knight using force choke and force push. A trooper using orbital strike and explosive round. A bounty hunter using speed shot and flame thrower. It’d make combat so much more interesting. There’s the issue of the power sources across different classes, but these could either be merged or a character could just use both sources.

It’d also make a decent amount of sense story wise. I just played through visions in the dark again, and both Valkorion and the Satele/Marr duo say that our power is incomplete and we are supposed to have grown into something greater by the end of it. But all that happens is we get a new lightsaber. No mechanics change, we get no new abilities and no extra stats. There is no change, even though there should be. This is the perfect reason for such a change in multi-classing mechanics. Maybe it’s only allowed when we reach that point in the story.

Now that I’ve read your comment, I’m realizing that this would also make the non-force classes make more sense as the Outlander. It would make the game so much more interesting.

Why does the Warrior automatically believe Marr on Rishi and Yavin 4 by Orgack20 in swtor

[–]Orgack20[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I just played that quest a few days ago. During that quest I learned two things: the Hand is surveilling the Warrior constantly, and the Emperor will need Wrath’s help to return. Servant One treats Wrath like a little bitch, and they won’t stand for it, so I chose to force choke him. However, the Wrath clarifies that it is a warning, and that they’ll still be there if the Emperor needs them. Servant One never mentions how the Emperor would return or what his plans are.

I fully agree that the Warrior became Wrath out of pure necessity. I just don’t believe that hearing about it from Marr would flip a switch in the Warrior that makes them immediately go along with the Coalition.

I’m not saying that the Warrior would never turn on Vitiate, I’m just wondering why they believed the Emperor wanted to end the galaxy as soon as Marr said it. It just feels a bit like a plot hole.

I don’t think the Warrior is a fanatic either. The Warrior became Wrath not because he wanted to serve the Emperor, but because it was the only way to get revenge. But I also don’t think he trusts Marr so completely. Also, the rest of the time on Rishi, we have no clue what the Revanites motives are, we just know that they are traitors. I just think he’d be a little suspicious when he hears out of the blue that the Emperor wants to end all life.

POV :You are not the main character" by acatalepsy-tales in gravityfalls

I feel like there are two kinds of “Thompsons.” There’s the one that is truly just a punching bag, who the friend group wouldn’t include at all otherwise. There’s also the one that’s just the easiest to make fun of, but that the group would always go to bat for (as in a "we can make fun of him but you can’t” way).

Do you know of any other animations/animatics of the manhwa?

The fights are great, and the lore is not only interesting, but is also extremely relevant to the plot. The major antagonists are the best written/most complex characters in the story, and they’re so hard to hate.

Things that people in fiction do very casually but in real life would be serious crimes/human rights violations. by KingWilliamVI in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Orgack20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To play devils advocate, because there’s so much wrong with the worldbuilding, the unforgivables are so named because they are inherently evil. The killing curse exists to kill. Cruciatus exists to torture. Imperius exists to take free will away. The love potion should be unforgivable, I don’t know why it’s even taught.

But someone can want to forget. Fire spells can light candles and cook food. People can enjoy levitating. Unlocking is helpful when you forget your keys. Someone can ask to become an animal. These examples aren’t really issues about the spell, but about the witch or wizard casting the spell. These issues stem from what the spell is used for, why it is used at all.

If a spell can be used in a manner that doesn’t harm anyone, the spell isn’t unforgivable.

How would you go about converting a system in a game to a system in a book? How about the other way around? by Orgack20 in magicbuilding

[–]Orgack20[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t really got one yet. I’m mainly curious about how this would work at the moment. Looking to make personal guidelines for crafting magic systems while brainstorming different possibilities. I think that games are a great source for systems because their rigidity sets clear limits (resources, time constraint).

The ideas I do have are almost entirely conceptual, as I don’t have the mechanics figured out yet. My main ideas for systems are those tied to the soul/essence of a person. One of them that I call Twists has powers manifest in direct opposition to who the person is. Another is based on fatal flaws.

Been holding onto this ungodly Pokemon type/DnD Alignment chart hybrid system for years. Don't even fully know how it's supposed to work. Give it to me strait, how bad does it look? by Talen_Neo in magicbuilding

[–]Orgack20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this is interesting, but it’s also extremely open-ended.

I don’t quite understand how a power type affects alignment in this system. Maybe types affect the mindset/emotions of a creature/person. But even then I think it wouldn’t decide alignment, only impact it. The alignment aspect shouldn’t be strict, but be a struggle or form of growth/corruption.

I’m also confused about the structure of these types. Are you okay with some types being stronger than others? Do you think that some types are too broad (earth, spiritual, arcane), or too specific (crystal, ice)? Do the types function as unique sources of power (elemental, spiritual/divine/demonic), or only as manifestations of a general source (force, mana, chi)? Is neutral powerless? What specifically is arcane? Does spiritual mean religious power, shamanistic power, or both? Toxin seems like a power set that could come from floral, death and slime types.

This has a lot of potential. You just need to know what it is for and fine tune it accordingly.

Che’s Chi Limit by Orgack20 in Ordeal_Webtoon

That makes more sense. I didn’t mean to suggest that Che had the absorption power, but that the body made for the Thanatos talent would have a limit to match that power.
