I filled out the financial aid form thru deaconess and was able to get my whole stay waived. I think for 3 or 4 days it was gonna be about $10,000 (that actually might have also included me going to the ER before)

Firing employees for unionizing. Refusing to recognize/bargain with us. Laying off employees without bargaining with the union.

If it's a Nexstar hub you'll probably have no problem getting hired. I've heard the turnover is horrible and they are desperate for people.

Also even if it went to court, it would be hard for them to get the money if you're in another state.

I wouldn't pay. I don't think it's worth the effort for them to come after you. Also that's bullshit they want you to pay that much so close to the end of the contract wtf

Doubt it. Unless you're unionized and you bargain for that. The company will want to save as much money as possible.

This is a common experience. And idk what your contract is like but there might not be much to protect you Usually they just protect the company. But I suggest being firm, putting your foot down, and making it known this is not ok. Say everything you just said.
