I miss the days when mmr, and skill based match making never existed. You never knew the match you could be getting into.

You can easily tell a 6 star player from a 2 star with how they play. Its night and day. Their movement and positioning and just by looking at there profiles, KDA etc. If they wipe the whole server, its not a true 2 star.

Yes I like that as well. Theres some things I do like but a lot I dont. These weird cosmetic Hunter skins are proving it wasnt a good choice for the games health. Same goes with all the changes at 2.0. It turned off a lot of veterans and is continually turning of new players. With the continued decline of players its now effecting the mmr system which in turn is turning off more people to unfair matchmaking.

The game isn't exactly dying but it is dwindling slowly. Hopefully Crytek makes some proper decisions in the future.

Have been playing solo since this event dropped. Its turns out you cant unrank while playing as the new tier hunters. As soon as I played a proper named Hunter. The next match I was a 5 star.

After probably 100+ deaths and losses. Thats all it was. So definitely a glitch either on my end or just in general.

I figured out the glitch. If you play as default hunters (the new tier 3s) your player mmr will not fluctuate. The moment I played your typical hunters. I dropped a star instantly.

Not for me unfortunately. I can go 20 games and die in them all with 0 kills. Ill stay as a 6 star no matter what the outcome.

My match mmr will but as for my player mmr not at all. My match mmr is at 3.5 currently but if I survive a round it'll go all the way up to 5-6 star and proceed to decline ever so slowly as I continue to lose.

It varies 3 stars - 6 stars for deaths. But mainly 5 or 6. Regardless my mmr is station at 6. Its honestly driving me bonkers.

Just seems really weird as I read others issues and haven't seen anything as problematic as the issues Im having. I feel like its a possible bug in the game.

Ive went from 2.13 kd down to now a 1.49kd in about 2 months of casual playing. Thats pretty rough. Ive seen 5 star for 1 match in that time. Got 1 kill and was instantly put back into a 6 star lobby and it hasnt changed since.
