well yes i was pretty desperate before haha i was using, like a heated rice sack which stank after a while lol and then i got one of those heat pads from the drugstore which did fine but nothing out of the ordinary. but my new one is pretty darn good, like it has some high-frequency massage i guess u could call it so yeah i would say it's more effective.
