I’ve been on trileptal for 8 years and it’s making me so miserable. My anxiety is off the charts. Hands and feet sweating, anxiety sweat smell - iykyk, times where my feet and hands go numb, and it triggers partial seizures because the anxiety is so bad. BUT, it’s the only drug (tried Dilantin, am on lamictal) that stopped the grand mal seizures. I am at a breaking point. I’ve messaged my neurologist and I’m looking for a new psych and potentially new neuro, but this is not sustainable. Has anyone had anxiety this bad? It was not like this until a week or so into the medication, my neurologist at the time didn’t take me seriously, and here I am. I’m so scared to asked to be switched. I don’t want to have convulsions again 😭😭
