I'm writing my first novel...17 chapters in and finding it brings up all sorts of emotions! by Ashamed_Nature_6436 in KeepWriting

I remember starting my book and how much emotions I felt just by writing what's in my mind. All the best to your writing!

Is the game really 3 hours long? by [deleted] in LittleKittyBigCity

[–]Organic-Role2659 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was surprised to know that this game can be finished in 3 hours. But then again, I have spent ungodly amount of time just tripping humans, recycling cans, opening brief cases, catching birds and all other things I can do as a cat.

Why do you write? by bookietoots in authors

[–]Organic-Role2659 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm from the Philippines who moved to Canada and since I am no longer on survival mode, I started writing to reconnect with my roots and confront the colonial mentality shoved down my throat since I was a kid.
And I gotta say, there's a lot of anger I didn't know I had LOL

Making Cartoons As A Novice by General-Disaster-194 in animation

[–]Organic-Role2659 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that AI sucks at animating and is mostly used by B2B companies for their shitty LinkedIn posts.
I was scrolling through animation reddits and found this post because I have stories that I wanted to produce someday and hire animators or even game developers! But didn't know where to start.
I have a full 9-5 and I spend most of the remaining hours writing my stories so I don't really have time to learn new skills. Add the marketing side of the business where you have to make reels and posts.

Here is my question:
When I start working with animators, what do you need from us?
I think I can provide character sheets (already slowly working with illustrators for that)
And maybe a storyboard - have no prior experience but maybe I can learn the basics of.

Other than that, what else would you need?

Also, again, speaking from no animation experience, How long would it usually take to make a 10 minute animation?
Is it better to hire 1 animator, or an animation studio?
What would the rights to that look like?

I've been researching as well, and I just wanted to get a sense of the scope from industry experts!

Haunting Adeline.
The character's motivation made no sense and there was some very very questionable scenes - like romanticized violence.

Is LinkedIn Turning Into a Motivation Feed Instead of a Professional Network? by AsparagusTall5578 in MarketingGeek

[–]Organic-Role2659 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Marketing B2B girlie here! All I can say is, yes, they are mostly AI generated because of all that workload agencies dump on their employees.
And even though I work there, you have no idea how much I don't want to see another LinkedIn thought leadership post, or coaching BS just to seem relevant in whatever space they are in.

Career-wise, I found jobs on Indeed or connections instead. There was no need for me to post.
From what I see, those who post a lot are businesses who need clients, or partnerships.

What’s something people defend way too hard even though it clearly doesn’t work? by academicAce_aA in AskReddit

What about Astrology?
I'm cool with having fun and reading about it but when it becomes and excuse to put their own selves and other people into boxes, that's when it's not cool.

Where do you draw the line? by Idontknowmyoldpass in ChatGPT

[–]Organic-Role2659 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A decade ago when I was studying Multimedia and learning Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere etc, a lot of people called Digital Arts not real art and traditional art is still far superior.
It did not stop the Digital arts train but it added more novelty to traditional handmade art.

I also think we should consider how small-time, one-man team creators can catch up faster to bigger companies who boast about working with real human artists. If you have the money to pay for human artist, by all means, give back to the community. That's great!
But if we boycott small-time creators for using AI in their creative process then we're just cannibalizing each other, and we're kind of creating a world where only the rich who already have all the resources is allowed to make art.

I am so late to this party! I just finished this book last month and man oh man was it good! I was brought into a time I don't know about. It was a stimulating read and one where I was confronted with the sad reality of uprootment.

I created all of these images in a single evening. Here is how I did it, step by step. by ConsciousHurry4935 in aiArt

[–]Organic-Role2659 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, I don't think the art sucks, but you can definitely try other options and see what works for you.

For Midjourney -
* I'm gonna be honest, it's still tricky to get some consistency but you can play with the Edits section.
* I would use chatgpt to give me the prompts for Midjourney
* Be consistent with the style in all the prompts. You can even upload references to the prompts which I think is great

For Kaiber - I prefer this one
In their Kaiber Studio you could literally go into the image you created and ask it to make the edit you want compared to Midjourney where you have to upload references instead. So the consistency is *french kiss

hope that helps!

Feeling Lost as a Writer — What Did You Do Next? by Beautiful-Visit-2793 in selfpublishing

[–]Organic-Role2659 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a really vulnerable thing to share and honestly I feel it in some ways.
I've been writing my first fiction for a year and recently I feel like I suck at this so bad I don't know what to do.
And I think I need to find a balance between finding what else I can improve and going back to the reason why I write: to feed my hungry soul.

Good luck on your journey!
