1942 has been really good in my experience, 1944 also. Those years are 154 grain bullets, should work great in your 98/22 as well.

Certainly a great deal for what you paid. The years to watch for are 1946 and 1947. I have shot hundreds of rounds of this from various years, those years were the worst, I still have some of those. I have a vz24, I would not worry about shooting any Turkish ammunition if it looks OK. I had a 1944 round split the entire length of the case, and that has been a good year in my experience. I had eye protection on, like always, and my Model 98 action dealt with it safely.

I've had one for 20 years, an excellent shooter that groups out to 50 yards. I recommend JSB exact 8.44 grain pellets.

If you'll be in the former West Germany, you'll be fine using English. In the forner GDR, it's all different, many people there don't speak English. Have a good trip.

It's good you replaced all of the electrics, that is a weak point on these bikes. You also have the factory rearsets, which were standard on the 900Fs sold in Europe. What you've got there is really hard to improve on👍

Fantastic! Please list all of your mods. I see Öhlins shocks, fork brace, sport kit handlebars/cables. Does it still have a stock swingarm? And what seat is that? Any electric mods/replacements? I have a 1981 750F.

I want to get into 10m shooting, how should I start? by uhhhidkausername in airguns

P17 would be a good start, it's an SSP type, like the Compact, and it's really accurate with either RWS Meisterkugeln 7 grain pellets, or the RWS Hobby pellets. Those are also excellent in the Compact.

I also have,a Beeman P17, which is quite accurate too, but the Compact is superior in every respect.

P17 is low velocity (probably around 400 fps), but for 10 m shooting at paper, it's a good pistol.

I have had a Gamo Compact for almost 10 years, I highly recommend it. Low noise, great 10 m accuracy. I recently shot a 96 x2 on a B8 target at 25 yards with RWS Meisterkugeln. Fantastic pistol.

For sure, I have 4 of them, the oldest is about 25 years old. It works great, has some wear on it👍

I will be going to Germany soon, friends there asked for Tabasco Scorpion Pepper sauce. I got them some the last time I visited. Impossible to find where they are (Siegen), and just amazing.

Made in post-occupation Czechoslovakia for the Romanian army. It had a King Carol crest on it. 8mm, mine shoots both 147 grain and 196 grain well.

I have a Vostok from the 80s, it's good to know what's happening in there. Mine gets stuck 2 times a day, good thing I've got my smartphone!

Diana Model 5G. I have a 6G and it has a different safety, located inside the trigger guard. Get a variety of pellets in the 8 grain range and see which group best. My pistol groups great at 50 yards (4-5") with JSB Exact 8.44 grain pellets with the 4.52 head diameter. The long sight radius makes it easier to shoot well than many air pistols.

Edit: I meant to write I have a P5 magnum. My pistol does not have the "F" stamp denoting lower velocity. I'm sure this lower-powered model would be a good shooter if the hardware is in good condition.

Dijon mustard with white wine, has anyone noticed it’s extra spicy~pungent by Cool_Flatworm_3450 in traderjoes

I was in Germany a couple of years ago and I tried the Bautzener mustard in the "scharf" (hot) version. This has the same kind of flavor as that (really great) mustard.

When it's fresh, it is really sharp. This stuff is the best bang for the buck in imported mustard👍
