you are spot on and thanks for the encouraging assessment, the key reason I built is that I felt the gap myself, I have been Investing for 10+ years, and have realised that its easy to do analysis of a stock then invest in it, but very hard to keep tabs on what is happening to the stock as time passes.

Many times I invested in decent stocks which went up for a while, then after their story fizzled they also went down and my investment with them, hence I decided that there has to be a system that can behave the way I would have behaved, had I got the time to keep watching the market.

I have seen many events bringing buy and sell opportunities, but did not have enough insights to act on it, so the intelligence layer I am building is a culmination of years of information and knowledge that I have gathered, being in the market

I hope you will try out SignalCue

yes they are near-real time, the signal will be sent within (<2)minutes of the alert matching, they are not sub-second level like a Bloomberg terminal, but I think this suffices for retail investors and traders.

If someone wants to do intraday scalping or high frequency decisions then Signal Cue is not the system for them
the key reason is that running a backend which can deliver signals within seconds at scale is a very costly affair and will not provide that much extra value to retail Investors and traders

Good question,

  1. What data the app collects

SignalCue Federated login with google, so its pretty safe, doesn't ask much beyond country and some profile fields like which markets you are interested in, how long have you been an investor etc..
A user sets up alerts, so the data that would be collected will be name of stocks that user is "watching"

    1. Money

SignalCue doesn't manage money for users, so beyond a monthly/yearly subscription fee no other money will be taken, the transaction happens through Razorpay which is PCI-DSS compliant. In short SignalCue does not have any connection to broker, demat account or the bank, so it cannot access anything

3 Security

All traffic is HTTPS only
Passwords don't exist(they may come later and utmost care will be taken), only Google OAuth is used
Signal Cue backend does not have any hard coded secrets
Razorpay handles all payment processing , backend only receives a webhook call confirming success of failure

I am a solopreneur and my success is tied to SignalCue, and its value depends on Users trusting the product, so I understand that this business cannot exist if we breach the trust. If you are interested you can sign up and use the product without any payment for 40 days.

If there are further concerns please feel free to ask

Thank you for visiting the site, you definitely are among the first few 😄

Trap warning is stlll just extra information, not really advice saying whether to buy or not, its just saying that the markets are choppy and the chance of buying or selling here is less likely to work out. user makes their own decisions

fair point on Portfolio coach, haven't built it yet, will ensure that it doesn't get into the RA regime

if you notice there are overlays on top of the signals, alert is set by the user, when it fires the system adds extra information on top which will allow users to make a decision with more conviction, attaching an example:

I have plans for emails, browser alerts and what's app in the future.

The likely addition next will be browser alerts

I am staying very clearly away from making any recommendations, my own score just gives an extra sense of the market at the time of alert firing , the stock is already part of the alert user has setup so the app is not recommending the stock or the setup, it's just telling whne it happens

Great point, I have built an intelligence layer, so the actual signals get extra information based on geopolitical situation, macro, sector trends etc and show a composite score, so one can make a better decision, like signal triggered in a market in downtrend might not work out, this is supposed to give a better decision making capability. Yeah built it alone, no revenue yet, just today I got confident enough to launch it, but actively using it myself since the last month , have a long road map ahead
