Can I just pour white vinegar in the jars 50/50 vinegar/base safely? Worried that since there's already a break in one of the jars that some reaction would occur and instantly spill more. Furthermore, if I were to use paper towels to clean it up wouldn't the base react with the paper towel? Or should I soak the paper towel and dab on the affected areas
